1970 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser

Up for auction is this very nice and well taken care of 70 Land Cruiser. The current owner bought the vehicle in 2001 and has kept it inside since. The only restoration that the Land Cruiser has had was the engine. The owner has added power steering, replaced the brakes and reworked the clutch. Also he replaced the weather stripping and rubber around the windshield. As you can see from the pictures that this is a very good driver quality Toyota! The red paint looks good with minor scratches. On a scale of 1 to 10 the owner would rate the paint a solid 7.
The black vinyl interior is in really good condition as you can also see from the pictures. The seats, dash and doors are all in great condition. The only thing missing is the headliner. The heater fan does not come on. It has rear heat and a aftermarket radio.

The 237ci straight 6cyl runs nice and smooth with plenty of power for your next off road adventure. The 3 speed manual transmission shifts just like a 70 Toyota should. The odometer is showing 117,812 miles and we believe this to be correct but have no documentation to back that up but judging from the overall condition I would say it very well could be correct. The owner has had his fun with the vehicle and has decided that it’s time for someone else to take the wheel and do some off roading and enjoy the Toyota. The buyer will submit a refundable* deposit in the amount that is 5% of purchase within one (1) business day of the close of the auction or acceptance of offer to secure the Vehicle. Buyer agrees to pay the remaining balance due (plus applicable fees and taxes) within five (5) business days of the close of the auction if you are not going to have the Vehicle inspected, or after the inspection. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the Vehicle. In the event you decide not to buy the Vehicle after inspection and we have stopped the auction for you or you have hit the buy it now button, the listing fee to re-list the Vehicle will not be refunded. We reserve the right to re-list and sell the Vehicle to another party in the event of failure to comply with this policy. In most cases Top Shelf Reps has not seen or inspected the Vehicles we represent online. Every effort has been made to accurately and fairly describe this Vehicle to you. The owner of this Vehicle has tried to disclose all information known about this Vehicle for auction. We welcome and recommend a buyer's inspection. If you plan to have a buyers inspection, please make sure you inspect the Vehicle prior to the auction ending. Buyer is responsible for any inspection charges and fees. By bidding you understand and are encouraged to inspect or send someone to inspect the Vehicle before final payment is made. If you choose to not have the Vehicle inspected you will not hold Top Shelf Reps or the seller responsible.

Cash in hand, certified check from the bank, Bank wire transfer. Deposits may be made with a certified check, Bank wire transfer or with PayPal. Entire purchase price of a Vehicle will not be accepted on PayPal

Buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title/registration fees in the state that the Vehicle will be registered in. Check your local BMV for details.

*Deposit is refundable ONLY in the event that the Vehicle has been materially misrepresented.
