Distinctive Automotive if very proud to offer this wonderful 1992 Porsche 968 Cabriolet with only 56k miles.  This 968 is finished in the desirable and hard to find triple black combination.  It is in excellent overall condition and has always been meticulously maintained.  It has the Tiptronic transmission. It is fully documented with every maintenance record since new along with the original books, keys, and window sticker.  It was originally sold new in California and was brought to the Mid-west with it’s second owner.  It has never seen snow and has been garaged it’s entire existence.  The convertible top works perfectly and the rear window is perfectly clear with no discoloration.  The leather seats are like new with no rips, tears, or stains. 

The exterior paint still shines beautifully.  It does have several small areas that have been treated with a little touch up paint but you have to look closely to find them. It starts, runs, and drives just like it did when it was new.  It has good Michelin Pilot tires.  The original wheels were black Plasti-dipped a  couple of months ago and done professionally and they look great.  If you prefer the look of the original alloy wheels the Plasti-dip can be quickly peeled off and you will find the underlying original wheels to be in superb condition.  I have posted pictures of the car with the wheels done both ways.  The new owner can decide which look is right for themJ.

All maintenance records are with the car and it has had the belts done and there are no leaks.  The car has had over $10k in maintenance performed on it over the years and you can rest assured this has been one of the 968s that has been pampered and well taken care of.  It is evident that this 968 has never been neglected.  The A/C blows cool, but I would say it’s not ice cold and may need a re-charge.  The driver’s side power window switch works but sometimes it is a little finicky.  All other electronics including the in-dash CD changer works perfectly.

Almost all Porsche experts agree that now is the time to buy a 968.  They have stopped depreciating and are a soon to be classic.  This car could be a daily driver, but I would like to see it go to someone who will continue to maintain and take care of it as it should be.
