This is an amazingly well preserved Smoke Silver one owner 500SEL.I sold these cars new in the early 80s and have always had an affinity toward 80s Mercedes cars.This car was offered to me by another 70 year old Mercedes aficionado that had heard thru the grapevine that an 82 year old lady was selling her car that was a gift to her in 1985,would I have interest.Well of course I had interest,sent the money,had the car shipped to me and was absolutely floored at how this car still looked and drove,just like it did in 1985! I decided right then and there that the car was not to be for sell and I would keep until it or I died.Well,here it is for sale.I have many,many cars,many,many,children and animals, I was anxious about maintaining this car to the level I received it,I decided I was not going to be the man responsible for its decline.I am looking for a caretaker of this fabulous example of a classic eloquent 80s Mercedes.The pictures taken here do not show how nice this car is.The leather,wood,dash,carpets,wind lace in door jams,the trunk carpets,headliner,run and drive all still look and feel new!
