Up for sale we have a 1937 Ford Street Rod. The build was done by Z Rods and it is a glass body set over a steel frame. Its powered by an LS1 with Over Drive Trans. It has a killer look inside and out with the Slick exterior and Leather Interior. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and driveline of the Ford, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.

Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of the Street Rod. It is a quality body that was done right. It has suicide doors with Hider Hinges. The fit of all the panels is very good, you can easily see the hours spent trimming and fitting to ensure a good fit with good gaps before being painted. It’s covered in the Viper Yellow Base Coat clear coat that was applied with the body apart before being reassembled, buffed, and polished to a deep rich shine. All the glass was hand cut to ensure a good fit with the all new seals. The trunk is electric with the doors working via the remote poppers. The hood opens from the side with an inside release. As to not take away from the look it has electric wipers with washers that are hid under the hood. The final touch is the new set of 18” and 20” Americans.

Next, we will take a look at the interior of the ’37. Everything on the inside is made to complement and flow the exterior and interior together perfectly. It’s done in tan leather with all the trim painted to match the exterior color. When you look at the dash it has the Auto Meter gauges. Also you will see it comes with Tilt Column and a Billet Wheel. The custom console runs from the dash to behind the seats and it has the Heat and AC controls mounted in it. The console also houses the window controls, parking brakes, and Lokar Shifter.

Finally, we will take a look at the driveline of the Ford. Under the hood it’s powered by a LS1 from Street Performance that is mated to a 4L60E Trans and aa 10 Bolt Rear End. It’s dressed ith a polished Alternator and AC Compressor. It has a cool craft Aluminum Radiator with dual fans, aluminum trans cooler, and over flow tank. The sound comes from a 2 ½” Flows Master Exhasut. This rod has Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes. The fuel tank is an aluminum unit from Summit. This ride has a full frame with a Chevelle Front End and a Chevy 10 Bolt Rear end as well as Koni Shocks.
