Up for sale we have a 1936 Dodge Pick Up Street Rod. This ride has been built from the ground up with the best parts they could get. This is a truck that anyone would be proud to own. It has a killer look with a HEMI engine and a box full of miscellaneous documents and receipts. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and driveline of the Dodge, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.

Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of the Pick Up. It was pulled apart down to the last nut and bolt and every panel was either repaired or replaced. After hours of sanding and blocking it was covered in the Rasberry Red Base Coat and then covered in many coats of clear. It was then all buffed before it was put together. The door handles were shaved along with putting hidden latches on the tailgate. It has a metal bed cover that raises up by the touch of a switch. Up front it has the custom front opening hood. The bumpers are new as well as the stainless grill. Inside the bed it has the wood floors with the stainless strips. In the front of the bed is where the air ride tank and battery is hid in a custom enclosure. The final exterior touch is a set of Boyd Wheels.

Next, we will take a look at the interior of the Dodge. Everything on the inside of this ’36 is as quality of a custom interior as you will find. It’s all done in Tan leather. Everything is custom from the overhead console with CD player to the door panels. When you look at the dash it has an LED gauge pack with the AC and Air Ride Controls in the glove Box. They put the power window controls under the lip of the dash to keep a clean look. It has a billet column and a Boyd steering wheel. The pedals as well as all the handles are also billet.

Finally, we will take a look at the driveline of the Dodge. Under the hood it’s powered by a 292 HEMI that’s mated to a 350 turbo Trans and a 9” Rear End. The engine is dressed with chrome valve covers and a 6 carb intake. It has all Aluminum Brackets and Pulleys. The exhaust runs through a set of coated shorty headers and stainless exhaust. The bottom of this Pick up is phenomenal. It has air ride on all 4 corners. Under the front it has a Mustang II style front end that has chrome control arms top and bottom with rack and pinion steering. There is a 4 link system in the rear. It has 4 wheel disc brakes that has the drilled and slotted rotors and aluminum calibers.

When this ’36 was built they used the best parts they could get and the cost did not matter. If you want a truck that you can buy and start winning shows or just enjoy this is it. Unless the car is advertised as an original Mileage car do not assume that the Mileage/Odometer reading is the actual mileage.  It is simply what the odometer is reading at the time of the pictures.  IT IS NOT ACTUAL MILEAGE UNLESS STATED SO IN DESCRIPTION.
