The first-generation Vanquish landed in the number 3 spot of the Best Film Cars Ever after its appearance as James Bond's ride in "Die Another Day" . This one doesn't have rocket launchers or ejector seats, but it has just about everything else.
This Spectacular Grand Tourer comes loaded with factory equipment plus some big-ticket upgrades. It starts with the paint. This is NOT a factory color. The car has had a total repaint of the highest quality. This may be the only bright red first generation Vanquish there is, and it is really eye-catching.
The car is also outfitted with a set of 22" forged rims by Forgiato. These forged three-piece wheels are crafted from aircraft-grade aluminum. At a cost of over $5000 when new, they have been custom painted to match the color of the car (as have the brake calipers).
Moving inside, the original audio system has been replaced with a Pioneer AM/FM/CD/DVD entertainment system with Bluetooth and an iPod/iPhone interface. The amp and speakers are from JL Audio.
Factory equipment includes push-button start, remote entry, leather seats and dash trim, dual power seats with heat, power windows locks and mirrors, auto climate control, plus options like aluminum pedals, an aluminum steering wheel and an on-board fire extinguisher.
The 5.9 liter V12 motor is a mechanical marvel. It runs so smooth and quiet, you would hardly guess that there's 460 hp lurking under the hood. Any doubts are squashed when you plant your right foot on the accelerator. The car absolutely launches - all very comfortably, of course. The motor is mated to a six-speed F1 style automated-manual transmission with shift paddles on the steering wheel.
This Amazing Aston Martin is in very good condition, it runs great, and it a has Clean Carfax report showing no accident history or any other problems.
