Presented today for your consideration, NO RESERVE, is this beautiful 1970 Chevrolet SS396 EL Camino. This is a Van Nuys built original SS396 EL Camino as documented by the build sheet found when replacing the fuel tank. No clone here, this one is a real ZL3, L34 optioned Big Block SS396. Also ordered with factory AC, which still blows cold! A factory tachometer and clock, as well as tinted glass make this a highly optioned SS396 EL Camino. Also ordered with the antenna built into the windshield as well as power disk brakes and power steering. It even has the optional glove box lamp option! 

Orginally ordered and shipped to Frontier Chevrolet in Fresno, Ca. on 10-08-1969, this SS396 EL Camino has remained in Fresno, Ca. since it was built. The original owner sold it to it's 2nd and current owner on 3-22-1973, who also lives in Fresno. That's right a 2 owner SS396 EL Camino! This beauty has never even left the state and is a true "dry climate" vehicle. It has ZERO rust. The sheet metal on this SS396 EL Camino is all G.M. and original to the car. It has not been in any accidents, nor has it required any type of repair. 

This 1970 SS396 EL Camino currently shows 90,309 miles. It was updated in 1999 by rebuilding the engine and upgrading it with a Comp Cam's shaft and after market exhaust. It was also painted General motors Code 9792- Indigo Blue and it looks incredible. Professionally pin-stripped at that time as well, this SS396 EL Camino looks amazing! The door, fender and hood lines are all perfect and the body is laser straight! Recently it has had many new parts replaced. The front end has been rebuilt with new upper/lower control arm bushings, new ball joints as well as new brake lines. The fuel tank and sending unit and lines are also new, as is the rear bushings, rear end seal and rear shocks. It then had a front end alignment and all fluids were changed out. The Rochester Carburetor is brand new as is the fan shroud, belts and hoses. Inside you will find that all options and accessories work as they should. A newly printed circuit board ensures that all lights and gauges work perfectly. The original clock was replaced with a new one and it keeps good time. Behind the seats you will find a working spare tire, and the original jack and handle. The radio plays thru new under dash mounted speakers.

This is a great driving, easy starting SS396 EL Camino which still retains it's original Ca. black plates and factory SS wheels and owners manual. This SS396 EL Camino will ship to it's new owner with a clean California title as well as a current registration card so there will be no issues for Customs Inspectors or the local DMV. It will also ship with the original owners manual and a can of the correct code touch-up paint as well as the instruction manual, wiring diagram and 2 keys.
