Signature Motorcars is ecstatic to feature this extremely rare Saffron 1970 Oldsmobile 442!! The Oldsmobile 442 is a cornerstone muscle car that will forever be heralded as one of the greatest muscle cars to ever come out of Detroit. Even better...this is the 1970 model, which is considered the "pinnacle year for Oldsmobiles performance car." The 455 Rocket Big Block engine was putting out an additional 15 horsepower than the 1969 meaning a whopping 365hp in factory form. This was the most powerful engine to ever be put in the 442 aside from the vehicles equipped with the in-house W-30 performance pack which added parts to the existing engine. This particular car was optioned with the 3-speed auto which still got things done for sure.

On a personal note, this Olds is a well documented 3 owner Oklahoma car with actual mileage UNDER 75K. The car has only been repainted once which took place in 1988 and it was the factory Saffron cream color. All trim, chrome, and bumpers are believed to be original parts. The 455 Rocket and 3 speed auto are fresh and underwent a rebuild at the same time only 2,500 miles ago. As you would expect this 442 drives like a dream, shifts like a dancer, and accelerates like a bat out of hell!! The original Air Conditioning system is in working condition also!! The interior is ALL there and we mean it. The headliner and floor carpeting have been replaced somewhere down the road but that was all that was needed. The executive brown seats are in mint condition and welcome you in to the luxurious cabin. Sit down and strap yourself to the front seat and 3 crystal clear gauges will entertain your eyes as the needles rise with violent speed. All compartments open and shut for a suprizing amount of storage.

The body and paint are not completely perfect but they are pretty damn close considering the cars originality. The exhaust has been upgraded but the factory tips are still being utilized for classic Olds fun. Look underneath this car and you will consider eating off of it, its really remarkable how nice this car is. The original 5 spoke graphite wheels look better than ever wrapped in high performance Mickey Thompson tires. Open the large and usable trunk(an excuse for the wife) and you'll find the spare tucked in neatly and the carpet tidy and appealing on the eyes as well.

All taxes and fees must be paid in full in order for the vehicle to be titled and registered. All sales will be subject to pay a $90 Admin fee, $125 Documentation Fee and V.I. T. (Vehicle Inventory Tax) which is .18%.Title Information: Vehicle titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments of up to 21 business days from the time we pay a vehicle off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at closing, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive.Payments: A deposit of $1000.00 by pay pal or wire transfer (non-refundable) must be paid within 24 hours of the close of the Auction. When the deposit has been submitted, "Buyer" MUST fax a copy of their valid, state-issued driver's license and insurance card along with a signed buyers order.
