Formerly owned by a friend of Jay Leno's, this California 550 has been blessed by the best. Built well, but similar to other cars Chuck Beck was producing, our 550 was later worked on by some of the best in the business. Car number 484 (B) is finished in the iconic Silver paint and complemented by the baby blue “darts”, modeled after the 550 Spyder that Jerry Seinfeld owns. The color combination is striking, offset by the gold pin striping that surrounds the blue darts. When it comes to making these Spyders your own, the possibilities are endless. The previous owner sourced original style 550 turn signal lenses, side view mirror with faring, license plate cover, leather clam straps, Wendler badges, and Porsche scripts & crests which all make for an authentic feel. The paintwork is exceptional from front to back, showing little to no blemishes. The interior on this 550 is equally as nice and features an original style, basket weave material that matches the baby blue darts and the seats are original style 550 sport seats that have plenty of room to spare, thanks to the recessed firewall. The steering wheel is a real Porsche Banjo steering wheel and correct Porsche center crest.

Lift the clam shell bonnet to reveal the guts of this 550. With many different engine variations available, this 550 is the perfect blend of power and speed. Starting with a 1.2 liter VW engine, this motor has been built up to the tune of 2.2 liters and is adorned with dual Weber carburetors and a custom exhaust. All this work together produces about 175 horsepower and is an absolute blast to drive.  4 wheel discs help get this Spyder stopped but are dressed up with original style drum brake simulators and the car also features KYB suspension dampening.
