For sale by owner is this very nice GTO convertible that had extensive cosmetic and mechanical restoration in the late 90's. Please let all the pictures load, (there are over 120) to see the beautiful condition of this classic Pontiac.  We don't know everything that has been done to it over the years, what follows is what we do know.  It was repainted in the original color (Starlight Black) and the bumpers were rechromed at the same time. The 400 HO engine was rebuilt, the transmission, suspension and brakes were serviced with many new parts installed.  The interior was redone in the original Parchment vinyl with new door panels and carpeting. The undercarriage appears original and in excellent condition. The car has power steering, power front disc brakes, 4-speed manual transmission, power top and a killer aftermarket JVC stereo system with amplified speakers.  Rounding out the package are some great looking Cragar SS wheels.  The engine runs great and it sounds terrific.  The gages, lights, signals, radio, power top, wipers and windows are fully operational.

While not a number one show car this GTO is very nice and is now ready for a new owner.

Included in the sale will be the PHS documents, convertible boot, the original owners manual, service manual, restoration guide and some receipts for work done.

Please remember that this car is 46 years old and not perfect. The paint has some imperfections too small to see in the photos, the Endura bumper has some hairline cracks common on this model, the clock, horn and blower motor are inoperable.
