                1982 was the last model year before the plant was moved to Bowling Green, KY. This is why there are no 1983 Corvettes. The only transmission available that year was the newly standard 4 speed automatic, which was basically the previous 3 speed Turbo- Hydra- Matic with a long-striding overdrive 4th gear tacked on. Only 25,407 units were made; the lowest production since 1967. This was due to the weak economy during the early 1980’s.           

This 1982 Chevrolet Corvette is a great cruising car! It features the Cross Fire 350 cu. in. V8 engine, which was first introduced the year. It is one of 14,763 produced to have a REMOVABLE T-Top. The T-top also includes sun protection. It features a rear fastback window. Includes factory alloy wheels. The interior is nice red/maroon vinyl with a wrapped steering wheel. Newer AM/FM/CD stereo put in. Features All power windows, seats, and steering, as well as REAR DEFROSTER! *Odometer Reads: 47021

Could use a little TLC. Interior vinyl has some mild cracks from sun damage and use over the years. Some rust on top of the door channel, as shown in picture.
