1977 Cadillac SeVille

After 22 years of ownership, my Uncle has decided to sell his Cadillac.  This 1977 SeVille has been meticulously maintained, and was purchased in 1993 from the original owner, making this a true two-owner car.  It's spent its entire life garaged and driven only in good weather, as shown by the beautiful condition and low 63K miles.  The car has been driven regularly to ensure that all mechanicals remain functional, and kept spotlessly clean as shown in the pictures.  This is a pampered car.

I took a great deal of pictures, so if you'd like to see anything in addition to what is shown here, please don't hesitate to contact me.  There are a few areas of minor rust, and one spot on the trunk where the paint has blistered, but considering the age of the car and the fact that it was last painted before my Uncle purchased it, the condition is very impressive.

All of the many options are still working - the only exceptions: as would be expected the air conditioning will most likely require new seals before it will hold a recharge, and the digital clock no longer works.  But the power windows, seats, innovative indicator lights, air-ride suspension, and everything else that makes a Cadillac a Cadillac are still functional.  I was surprised to hear that the car has fuel injection and 4-wheel disc brakes - impressive in a 1977.

The reserve on this car is VERY low.  My Uncle would love to see it go to a new owner who will love and enjoy it as much as he has.  Please contact me with any questions or if you'd like to see more pictures.

Some details I may have missed:
--2nd owner as of 7/1/93  - current original miles  = 63,200
--Owner’s manual, original floor mats front, back, trunk, spoke hub caps
--Electronic controlled fuel injection system with 350 cu.in. block
--Leatherette roof covering
--Air Conditioning – not currently operating
--Automatic Door lock system – locks all doors when ‘DRIVE’ is engaged, the driver’s seat is occupied, and courtesy lights are out.
--Power Door Locks
--Remote Control Trunk lock located in the glove box, permits unlocking the trunk lid from inside the car when ignition switch is in the run position.
--Front Seat adjustments – Driver seat has 6-way control, and passenger seat has 2-way control.
--Power Windows
--Window lock out switch - Normal all windows operate – LOCK all windows operate from only the master control.
--Adjustable side view mirrors
--Cornering Lights – When the headlights are on, and the turn signal is operating in either direction, the corresponding cornering light emits a steady beam to provide additional illumination.
--Tilt and Telescope steering wheel.
--Cruise Control
--Automatic level control – Auxiliary air springs that are an integral part of the rear shock absorbers are automatically inflated as the rear suspension leveling control system senses load increases.
--Disc Brakes – vacuum power assisted, self-adjusting  brake system utilizing 4 wheel disc brakes
--Side Marker lights- provide additional side identification – whenever the headlights or parking lights are on, the amber (front) and rear (red) side markers are on.
--Reading lights on each rear side roof panel
--Vanity mirror on passenger side sun shade.
--Digital electric clock (not currently operating)
--Ventilation system’s additional feature is continuous low-speed operation of the heater and air conditioning blower, resulting in an uninterrupted supply of outside air flow into the car whenever the ignition switch is on.
--AM-FM Stereo Radio Tape player – the tapes it uses are 8 track -  2 tapes in glove box

2018 Cadillac XT7 three-row crossover spied [UPDATE]

Fri, Feb 26 2016

UPDATE: Upon further consideration, and after speaking to some industry insiders, it appears this might not actually be a new Cadillac, but instead just a mule of the new Chevy Traverse. One source points out that the foglights are fixed, round units, which would be production spec and would not suggest Cadillac. Another source says the Cadillac version of the Traverse/Acadia/Enclave was cancelled, and development has stopped. Yes, a Cadillac of this size is expected to arrive – and elements of this prototype sure do look Cadillac to us – but it might be too early for this to be it. Cadillac is expanding its portfolio with a three-row crossover. This is it. Expected to be called the XT7, the new vehicle will give Cadillac an entry above the XT5 and below the hulking Escalade. Though the XT7 is heavily covered, we can see Cadillac's (?) bold grille and what looks like strong proportions. It'll probably look like a larger XT5, and you can sort of (maybe) see a similar roofline if you squint. Spy shooters caught it testing with the new Chevy Traverse and Buick Enclave, and they're all expected to use the new General Motors 3.6-liter V6 engine, like the recently revealed GMC Acadia. The XT7 could show up as soon as late this year or early in 2017. Its part of GM's push to capitalize on the red-hot crossover segment that has been fueled by low gas prices and Americans' thirst for utility. The XT7 would likely represent GM's most profitable play in this segment. Simply affixing the Cadillac badge on the front adds thousands of dollars to the sticker compared to a Chevy or Buick product. The XT7 will also give Cadillac a significant opportunity for growth – and perhaps allow it to gain on Mercedes and BMW on the sales charts. While the CTS and ATS have had mixed success, Americans have continued to show a willingness to buy Cadillac utility vehicles. The XT7 is the latest in Cadillac's product blitz following the XT5 and the CT6 range-topping sedan. Those two are the most critical Caddys, but the XT7 isn't far off. Cadillac highlights craftsmanship in latest Escalade teaser videos

Wed, 25 Sep 2013

Cadillac, in case you haven't heard, is unveiling the new Escalade on October 7, completing the redesign of General Motors' large SUV range. The event is proceeding with the regular degree of "teasers" and "leaked images" that is typical of the automotive world, nowadays.
As the new Escalade's reveal date grows closer, Cadillac is trumping up interest for the new SUV, debuting five short teaser videos on its YouTube channel. While not showing much about the Escalade itself, the spots reveal plenty about its materials. Real wood and hand-stitched leather are highlighted, while we get another glimpse of the Escalade's vertically oriented headlights. Take a look below for all five spots.

Editors' Picks February 2021 | Ford F-150, Genesis GV80, Mazda CX-30 and more

If we’ve driven and reviewed it, thereÂ’s an Autoblog Rating for it. ItÂ’s been over two years since we launched a new rating system to help you evaluate cars at a glance. We tweaked and improved it along the way and quickly arrived at a consistent process for giving each and every car on sale today a fair score. Cars that are exemplary or stand out in their respective segments get EditorsÂ’ Pick status. Those are the ones weÂ’d recommend to our friends, family and anybody whoÂ’s curious and asks the question. Every car we rate gets a score from 1 to 10, making it easy for you to tell if itÂ’s a car worth pursuing and possibly purchasing. YouÂ’ll find the scores of previously-rated cars attached toward the top of our written reviews. For example, the Bronco SportÂ’s rating can be found here. The Acura TLXÂ’s rating is in this post, and the Nissan RogueÂ’s rating is right here. There are hundreds of examples to be found. The above examples make up the most natural ways to find the Autoblog rating when researching for your next car, but starting today, weÂ’re going to begin calling out each new set of Editors' Picks per month in their own breakout stories. This will put the newest and most recently refreshed cars on sale on a pedestal for you to see which ones are worth your while. WeÂ’ll typically rate anywhere between 5-10 new cars per month, so you can count on just a select few from those to make this list. Expect to see this recurring ratings post each month going forward, and read on for FebruaryÂ’s EditorsÂ’ Picks.   2021 Genesis GV80 2021 Genesis GV80 View 18 Photos Quick take: The stylish GV80 offers useful safety features, compelling design and sporty dynamics to push it near the top of the segment. Genesis takes risks with this aggressive crossover, and the result is a luxurious vehicle that is rewarding to drive. Score: 8.5 What it competes with: Lincoln Aviator, Volvo XC90, BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class, Acura MDX, Lexus RX Pros: Beautiful design, good road manners, awesome value Cons: Small third row and cargo space, less comfortable standard suspension  From the editors: Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore — “The GV80 is a hugely important vehicle for Genesis. It makes a style statement, has an elegant interior and is a compelling all-round execution. It looks like a Bentley, and I give Genesis props for taking some risks with the GV80 and largely pulling it all off.
