2003 Seville Sls 19,900 Orig, Miles-one So. Cal Senior Owner- Garaged-the Best! on 2040-cars

Up for sale has to be one of the lowest mileage 2003 Seville's left in the world.  Purchased new in Orange County, California by one senior owner, this car has been garaged and driven sparingly it's whole life.  I know the history of this car as I purchased from a good friend of mine.  He purchased this car for his wife on the same day he purchased himself the matching Escalade.  Needless to say, it was an expensive day.  His wife has only driven this car a few miles a day to daily mass and to the store... no joke.  It has been serviced as required and only hand washed.  It still sports it original tires and brakes.  The chassis is as clean as the day it rolled off the assembly line.  This car has never been wrecked or abused.  I seriously doubt it has ever been driven over 50MPH.

The SLS didn't come with a sunroof from the factory, so they ordered this car special and waited 10 weeks to get it. They ordered the glass sunroof, heated seats, rear back up sensors, gold emblem package, etc.  An absolutely beautiful car in every way.  This as close as you will ever get to driving it new off the showroom floor.  It even smells new.  Comes complete with all books, records, extra key and remote and valet key (never out of GM bag), On Star, and even a dated brochure from the day she picked it up.  Runs and drives perfect, as you would expect. All service is up to date.

Issues:
There is a small dent on the driver's rear door right at the molding. Hard to see, but it is there. Very slight, you have to look hard to see it.  It is from their garage.  Fitting a Seville and an Escalade in a garage is tough and being that they are older, She opened the door into something a few years ago.  She admitted it! Other than that, she is beautiful!

The pictures speak for themselves. I will post a few pictures of the chassis. You won't believe the condition. Currently registered and will come a current smog certificate for California buyers.

A comparable new Cadillac is $65K plus.  This is your opportunity to own a "new" Cadillac for a fraction of the price. This is a one time only opportunity, don't let it go. When else will you find a one owner, Southern California, 19K original miles Cadillac Seville like this.  One of the last Seville's and one of the nicest left on the planet.  Simply the best of the best... hands down!

Please ask any and all questions before you bid.  Reserve set for absolute sale.

Thank You.

Why Cadillac thinks it needs to succeed in Europe to sell cars elsewhere

Tue, 26 Feb 2013

Ward's Auto has taken an interesting look at the renewed focus General Motors is showing towards Cadillac in Europe. Susan Docherty, president and managing director of Chevrolet and Cadillac in Europe (pictured), says in order for the luxury brand to thrive in China, it first needs to succeed in the old country. The reason? Chinese buyers look to Europe for cues as to what's deemed worthy of the term "luxury." There are hurdles to the plan, however. In addition to the fact that the EU is flooded with high-end nameplates, GM doesn't necessarily have the distribution network in place to put buyers behind the wheel.
Combine that with persistent economic woes and Cadillac's checkered past marred by a lack of diesel engine options and a bankrupt distributor, and the road ahead for the brand looks like less of an uphill climb and more like a straight-up cliff face. But Docherty is optimistic and says she has a plan for the brand. We recommend heading over to Ward's for a closer look at the full read.

Cadillac CT6 styling will be evolutionary, not like Elmiraj

Wed, Dec 17 2014

Well, this is at least a little disappointing. It turns out Cadillac's long-awaited flagship, the CT6, won't be ushering in a wholesale change in the company's design. That's coming from GM Design guru Ed Welburn, meaning it should be taken as gospel (unless of course he's just trying to hoodwink us). "It'll be different and it will certainly stand out in the portfolio," Welburn told Automotive News. "But you won't see a real shift in direction." Instead, Art and Science will be shown in yet another new form, and will "continue to evolve," according to Welburn, although what that means is unclear. What we can say for certain, though, is that Art and Science on the CT6 will not evolve into the stunning Elmiraj Concept. "I think Elmiraj was more of an influence on some other things we're working on for Cadillac," Welburn said, we're guessing with a smirk and an air of mystery. Considering we have yet to see the CT6, it's hard to tell whether this will be good news or bad, although based on the critical reception to the Elmiraj, we're a little bit disappointed by Welburn's statements. Still, only time will tell whether the styling of the CT6 will really work out.
