THIS VEHICLE IS IN FAIR CONDITION AND DRIVEABLE. INSPECTED IN SEPTEMBER 2013. I HAVE BEEN DRIVING THIS CAR UP TILL RECENTLY WHEN WE BOUGHT A 4 WHEEL DRIVE.
THE CAR IS DIFFICULT TO START AT TIMES (ESPECIALLY ON COLD MORNINGS) AND I'VE BEEN TOLD BY MY MECHANIC THAT THE FUEL PUMP IS GOING. A/C DOES NOT WORK, AND I THINK THE CAR NEEDS STRUTS. THE MOON ROOF WORKS, BUT THE INTERIOR COVER UNDER THE MOON ROOF HAS BECOME DISLODGED FROM THE TRACK AND WILL NEED TO BE FIXED. ALSO THE GAS GAUGE DOES NOT WORK CORRECTLY SO WE'VE BEEN MONITORING GAS USAGE BY THE COMPUTER ON THE DASH. THE TIRES WERE REPLACED IN JULY AND HAVE 6,000 MILES ON THEM (A $400 VALUE). HEATED SEATS WORK GREAT AND THE SOUND SYSTEM IS FANTASTIC. THERE IS A 12 DISC CHANGER IN THE TRUNK AND THE STOCK SPEAKER SYSTEM IS SECOND TO NONE. AVERAGE GAS MILEAGE IS ABOUT 17 mpg, BUT GETS ABOUT 30 MPG ON THE HIGHWAY. PLEASE EMAIL WITH ANY QUESTIONS |

Cadillac sales chief Peffer resigns amidst slow sales
Fri, 20 Jun 2014Cadillac continues to hemorrhage executives, as it's just seen its fourth high-level departure in the past year. Vice President of Global Strategic Development Don Butler (who defected to Ford) and European President and Managing Director Susan Docherty both left the company of their own volition, while Chase Hawkins, Cadillac's vice president of sales and service, was fired following a "violation of policy" in July of 2013. Strangely, it's Hawkins' replacement, Bill Peffer (shown above), who has handed in his papers this time around.
"Bill left to pursue other interests. Kurt McNeil replaces him, effective immediately," spokesman David Caldwell told Autoblog via email.
McNeil last held the VP of sales and service position back in 2012. He's currently the vice president of US sales for all of General Motors. According to The Detroit News, McNeil will take on the post in what is likely an interim capacity.

"I take advantage of any excuse to drive it; just banging around town, errands, short runs on the interstate, delivering my granddaughter to school in the morning," he says. Elon Musk will speak at the Automotive News World Congress in January. The Tesla CEO is a featured speaker for the program, "Setting the Pace in a Thriving Market." Production of the Toyota Rav4 EV has ended. The shipment of the final Toyota EVs concludes Toyota's deal to source batteries from Tesla. Cadillac will likely show an improved version of the ELR at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November. The 2016 ELR will include unspecified "engineering enhancements," according to Cadillac spokesman David Caldwell. Uber executives, along with Illinois Governor Pat Quinn, have announced a major expansion of the ride-hailing company's Chicago headquarters. Uber also plans to add 420 jobs by the end of 2016. "Uber's new expanded headquarters will allow the company to continue its rapid growth and serve its riders and drivers throughout Illinois," says Governor Quinn.
