Car does need some work, passenger door has a dent, which is pictured, trunk hydraulic system is not working, so the trunk must be propped open, as with the hood, but I hear they are easy and cheap to replace in the hood. The leather is worn as you could imagine for how old it is, also there is no tape deck or CD player of any kind in the car, the engine runs strong and is not leaking, holding its fluids, the power steering hoses were recently replaced, heating and cooling system has not work since I bought the car a year ago, 'Im sure its an easy fix, but i'm not a mechanic so I don't mess with it. The transmission in this car I do believe needs some repair, I cannot get it to move when it is in reverse gear, but seems to be running fine in forward gears, this car would make for a great project car to fix up and drive, it has a strong V8 motor, and is still a comfy car considering it is a 1990. Cadillac has pulled the wraps off of its newest family member, the long-rumored, Voltec-powered, eye-catching extended range hybrid coupe called the ELR. The car makes use of the same basic architecture as the Chevrolet Volt, but has been thoroughly layered on with design, technology and performance tuning - with the goal of being a properly situated product for the Cadillac brand.
Consumer Reports loves the 2014 Cadillac CTS
Mon, 16 Sep 2013Our first drive of the 2014 Cadillac CTS was just published today... we really liked the Vsport version. And Consumer Reports has some even stronger words of praise for the all-new luxury sedan. We already knew that Cadillac had stepped up its game with the third-gen CTS, but CR bluntly states that the sedan drives better than its German luxury counterparts.
While CR shows plenty of love for the new CTS, the outlet still takes issue with some of the in-car technology including the CUE infotainment system - no surprise there. The testers' offer all manner of positive comments where the impressive handling capabilities of the sedan are concerned, with lots of drifting around CR's private test facility in evidence to bear them out. Cadillac highlights craftsmanship in latest Escalade teaser videos
Wed, 25 Sep 2013Cadillac, in case you haven't heard, is unveiling the new Escalade on October 7, completing the redesign of General Motors' large SUV range. The event is proceeding with the regular degree of "teasers" and "leaked images" that is typical of the automotive world, nowadays.
As the new Escalade's reveal date grows closer, Cadillac is trumping up interest for the new SUV, debuting five short teaser videos on its YouTube channel. While not showing much about the Escalade itself, the spots reveal plenty about its materials. Real wood and hand-stitched leather are highlighted, while we get another glimpse of the Escalade's vertically oriented headlights. Take a look below for all five spots.
