It's getting harder and harder to find examples of these Classic Cadillacs with this type of low mileage.  This is a 46,000 mile 2 owner example of the Classic Cadillac Seville, the first personal sized Cadillac built to be more like the European sedans of the time while still keeping all the touches that make a Cadillac what it is.  The result was this beautiful car here.

This Cadillac was purchased by the last owner in 1985 as a lightly used car.  It was driven for several years as daily transport along with several other cars he had.  During this time, the owner started a large collection of Classic and special interest cars featuring the Cadillac Marque.   When this car was retired from daily use, he kept it as another low mileage car in his collection, only disposing of it this year along with a large number of other cars.

This car has a geniune 46,000 miles and it shows.  The chrome, interior, engine bay and details are very nice and have been detailed recently to really bring out the quality of this car.   While in storage, the car was regularly started and occasionally driven, however, it will need at least thoruogh service and tires to be driven any distance.  It runs great and drives quietly and comfortably.  There are no bad engine noises, smoke etc. and the transmission and brakes perform as they should.

Cosmetically it is in good shape and while not perfect, presents well and has a good lustre.  The car has been painted at sometime in its past, and while good looking and shiny, the paint has some imperfections, knicks and scratches, etc.  It could use a good detail, or finish to your own desire of perfection.

The interior is all original and looks great.  The leather is soft and in good shape as is the rest of the inside including the carpet, panels and headliner. Furthermore, the trunk liner and mat/spare tire cover are all in good shape and look great.

Overall, if you are looking for a very nice low mileage driver that you can finish to your requirements, this could be your car!  While not perfect, it is hard to find such a nice example, especially in this price range.

2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe

Cadillac has become a very, very different company since the dawn of the new millenium. Its turn-of-the-century lineup, consisting of staid offerings like the Seville, DeVille and Eldorado, represented the Old Cadillac. These cars were plagued with Old GM quality issues and catered to a more elderly audience. Since the company's Art and Science design language arrived, though, we've seen Cadillac flesh out its lineup in a big way, introducing notable and (so far) enduring products, like the the CTS, SRX and most recently, the ATS.
With the CTS tackling the 5 Series segment and the SRX duking it out with the Lexus RX and its classmates, the ATS has been left with the tough task of battling the BMW 3 Series, Audi A4 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class, among others. Critically, at least, it has excelled in this role, but it's still working on finding its feet sales-wise. On paper, broadening the model range by adding a two-door personal luxury coupe could help.
After a week with the ATS Coupe, though, we've found a car that, while retaining the standard model's excellent driving character, doesn't quite offer enough visual excitement to stand up to other cars in its segment.

SRX-replacing Cadillac XT5 spied for the very first time

Cadillac has got big plans in place to revitalize its lineup, with new sedans, coupes and crossovers. And it all starts with this, the replacement for the SRX.
Expected to be called XT5 in line with the brand's new naming scheme, the crossover will be based on a scalable new platform called C1XX - or Chi, for short. In its shorter form, Chi is anticipated to underpin the XT5 as well as a new Chevy crossover and the next-gen GMC Acadia. In long-wheelbase form, the platform is slated to give us a larger Cadillac crossover as well as a new Buick Enclave and Chevy Traverse.
Power in the XT5 will be provided by a choice of turbo four or atmospheric six, potentially to be transmitted through GM's new nine-speed automatic.

Cadillac won't replace XTS after 2019

Cadillac wouldn't be Cadillac without a large sedan, but the definition of just which model fits that bill changed last week. Before the New York Auto Show, that role fell to the XTS. After the New York Auto Show, though, the focus shifted to the CT6. So what's to become of the XTS now that the CT6 has emerged? According to the latest intel, it'll live out the rest of its lifecycle until around 2019, but then drive off to its own funeral like so many limousines and hearses that were built off its platform. This was learned based on comments made by Cadillac chief Johan de Nysschen at the closed-door unveiling of the CT6 in Manhattan: "Ultimately, a car like XTS when it reaches the end of its lifecycle, will not be replaced." That'll be bad news for the livery business that – in the post-Town Car era – has come to rely on the XTS as the basis for its stretch jobs. "We will not have a car that will lend itself to these kind of modifications and we will probably withdraw from those markets," de Nysschen told GM Inside News. That's not all the new Cadillac boss had to say, though: he also indicated that the replacements for the ATS and CTS will be positioned differently from the current models: "As we move into the future refining our sedan portfolio, there will be no direct successor to the CTS. There will be no direct successor to the ATS. There is no point to renaming those cars because in the future those cars will disappear." Based on Johan's comments and those we've heard until now, we'd expect the replacement for the ATS to move down a size to take on the likes of the Audi A3 and Mercedes CLA, and the CTS' successor to move down half a size class as well to give the new CT6 a bit more breathing room, and possibly an even larger flagship sedan to be positioned above them all.
