If you are looking at this vehicle, I shouldn't have to ramble on about all the details for I'm sure you're already aware. The condition and pedigree is what's important to the collector/enthusiast like you so here we go. The car was a one owner vehicle up until last year when a gentleman purchased it from the estate of the late original owner and transferred it over to me. In order to do so legally, the gentleman had to register it in his name before the title could be sent to me so technically I'm the 3rd owner but for all intents and purposes the second.
Since I purchased the car I spent quite a bit of time and money making it into the jewel you see before you. I completely went over the car and decided to purchase 5(spare tire as well) original chrome Cadillac "lace" wheels and 5 brand new white walled Bridgestone tires. The trip to Brogan Cadillac last month included the necessary wheel alignment, coolant flush, power steering fluid flush, brake fluid flush, throttle body cleaning and replacement of the (IAC) idle speed control sensor which all totaled $1,300.
I replaced both rear window plastic channel guides, which commonly crack over time, with new ones so that all windows function properly. At the same time, I purchased 6 additional plastic guides to have on hand when needed for the front windows (included). I forgot to picture that I also have a "NOS" (new old stock) third keyless entry remote as well as a NOS set of uncut Cadillac gold keys (ignition-vats#2 and door) as spares just to have on hand...they aren't making this stuff anymore folks.
I have clean and clear NJ title in-hand and ALL the original content of the white "gift box" with black ribbon that Cadillac gave it's customers which included the VHS tape, grill emblem, owner's manual, etc., as well as the original window sticker. (pictured)
Please carefully look over the 200+ pictures and video(sorry for the wind noise) of this Fleetwood to really get a sense of what it is although I must say that the images you see, as nice as they are, don't do the car justice in terms of color, glisten and presence.

Cadillac's semi-autonomous Super Cruise pushed back to 2017
Thu, Jan 14 2016It looks like General Motors is discovering just how difficult it is to bring autonomous vehicle technology fit for public consumption to market. The company has pushed back the launch of its semi-autonomous Super Cruise technology by several months. Originally promised by CEO Mary Barra for a fall 2016 debut, Super Cruise was supposed to be offered first on the new CT6 sedan. Automotive News is reporting that won't be the case, following a statement from GM confirming that the new system would be pushed to sometime in 2017. At the very least, that's a several month delay. GM cited the need to get the system right and keep owners safe, which prevented a firm date for Super Cruise's debut. Product boss Mark Reuss was more blunt, though, telling AN, "It will come out when it is ready." Super Cruise would be one of the earliest examples of driverless tech to be put into public hands, following the introduction of Tesla's semi-autonomous AutoPilot system in 2015. Most other automakers experimenting with the autonomous vehicles don't foresee public sales until early in the next decade, including Toyota, Renault-Nissan, and Volvo. Before Barra suggested a 2016 debut, GM originally aimed to introduce its semi-autonomous system in 2020. Related Video:
Cadillac introducing V2V communications on 2017 CTS sedans
Thu, Mar 9 2017While Audi has introduced vehicle-to-infrastructure technology in select cars in select cities, Cadillac is focusing on vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communications, and it all starts with the CTS sedan. Starting this month, the company will be adding V2V equipment to 2017 models. The feature will be standard on cars in the US and Canada. These V2V devices will allow these new Cadillacs to communicate with each other up to 980 feet away. The cars will be able to transmit and receive information on speed, direction, and location. An example of how this data can be used is in detecting a car coming up a side street that could pose a possible collision risk. The cars will also be able to transmit data about brake use, hazard lights, and low traction situations for advance warning of hazards. The warnings can be displayed on the instrument panel and heads-up display. Currently, the system only communicates with other CTS sedans equipped with the technology. According to Chris Bonelli at Cadillac part of the reason is that the CTS will be the only car with the equipment on US roads at the moment, but it also isn't currently set to communicate with other cars if they were to be offered right away. However, he said that the company is absolutely willing to work with other companies to make the system compatible if or when other cars are offered with the technology. This V2V system also doesn't send data to any sort of network, instead only communicating with nearby cars. For the time being, this precludes the possibility of receiving road condition information from cars that are farther away. But as Cadillac points out, it should work under any conditions with no delay since it isn't dependent on information from a network. As far as security is concerned, Bonelli told us that the Cadillac system does have firewalls and other security measures to keep it protected from interference. He also said the cars don't store any data they receive. In addition, none of the data could be used to identify a particular person. The cars use a radio frequency set aside by the government for this use. The introduction of this technology also puts Cadillac well ahead of proposed legislation by the Department of Transportation. The organization wants this type of short-range V2V communications equipment to be a standard feature by 2023, believing the technology could prevent many injuries and deaths due to crashes. Cadillac previews upcoming new XT5 crossover [UPDATE]
Thu, Sep 10 2015UPDATE: Cadillac has released another three images, which we've added to the gallery above. Cadillac is gearing up to unveil its new XT5 crossover at the Dubai Motor Show in November. We've already seen what it'll look like - from a couple of angles, anyway - but the all-American luxury automaker has given us another taste of what's to come with a quartet of images released on its official Facebook page. Set to replace the SRX that's now six years old, the all-new XT5 adopts the new design language we've seen on newer Cadillacs of late. That's most particularly emphasized with those vertically integrated LED headlights. The sharply creased styling is also signature Cadillac, as is the egg-crate grille capped by the brand's wreath-less new emblem. The dark brown paint job also looks like it has a deep metallic flake to it, offset by satin brightwork where you might have once expected to see glinting chrome. (Then again, it could just be reflecting a uniform backdrop.) The XT5 is expected to be the first of several new Caddy crossovers to wear the letters XT. A smaller model (likely to be dubbed XT3) is tipped to slot in below, with a larger XT7 to slot in above – but still below the defiantly truck-based Escalade that's not about to go anywhere anytime soon. Sedans will continue to start their nameplates with the letters CT. But after a dozen years, the letters SRX will be retired from the Cadillac lexicon. Related Video:
