1993 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham Sedan 4-door 5.7l Low Miles on 2040-cars
Effingham, South Carolina, United States
Up for sale
is my father’s 1993 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham with the highly sought after
5.7 v8 with unheard of low miles of only 48,686. She has been garage kept since he
purchased her. She was a one owner vehicle that was traded in at a new car Toyota
dealer whom we purchased her from. She always had her oil changed every 3,000
miles or every 6 months with Castrol edge full synthetic. She has been a Sunday
car for my father and my mother whom enjoyed taking it for a nice drive and
going to local car shows with my wife and me. She is equipped with dual power
heated burgundy leather seats that are in great condition and the interior
shows almost no signs of wear. He used zymol leather conditioner on her every
time he cleaned her to keep the seats nice and soft from cracking. We just put
on brand new tires on last summer that have seen maybe 800 miles. The ac blows
ice cold and was serviced last summer as well and the heat blows nice and hot.
This Fleetwood has been well kept and well respected and it shows all around. I
can be reached by phone or text at 843-617-8077 my name is Joseph. The vehicle
is located in Florence South Carolina and is currently for sale locally as
well. I own a small car dealership but this Cadillac has been my parent’s weekend
getaway fun for the last two summers. I
do not know that there is a nicer one left out there with miles like this.
The only
thing worth mentioning is that there are a few chips here and there in the
paint as is expected with a vehicle of its age. There is some extremely minor pitting in the
rear chrome bumper. And the padded vinyl roof has a few spots of wear. I have
taken pictures of all of this please look closely. There is a small crack in
the dash that is covered by a dash mat. |

2015 Cadillac Escalade blings its way into LA
Thu, 21 Nov 2013The new Cadillac Escalade sauntered out onto the Los Angeles Auto Show stage, showing off its new familial face and redesigned interior. That exterior, with its slim, wrap-over headlights and tall, vertical taillights (both made up of LEDs) is a subtle but significant departure from the past styling of General Motors' flagship SUV.
And while there's no shortage of stuff to discuss about the Caddy's exterior, its cabin is where the big changes happen. Aside from the column-mounted shifter, the cabin receives a heavy going-over, receiving Cadillac's new CUE infotainment system and a significant upgrade to the materials. Comparing it to furniture, Eric Clough, Cadillac's director of design for interiors, said, "An exceptional level of craftsmanship has gone into the redesign of the 2015 Cadillac Escalade, and it all centers on the premium materials and extensive use of cut-and-sew live stitching."
Under hood sits a 420-horsepower, 460-pound-foot, 6.2-liter V8. Fitted with direct injection and active fuel management, fuel economy for the big Escalade should get a much-needed boost beyond the current model's 14-city and 18-highway miles per gallon, although official numbers haven't been published quite yet. A six-speed automatic is the sole gearbox choice. Cadillac has also fitted the new Escalade with GM's magnetic ride control system, which should deliver a more refined ride than its predecessor.
This 1969 Ford F-100 has a Cadillac CTS-V engine lurking underhood
Fri, Jan 30 2015Something always feels just a little taboo when someone builds a custom and then slots in a powertrain from a rival automaker. That's exactly the case with this modded 1969 Ford F-100 boasting a highly tuned LSA supercharged V8 like from the second-gen Cadillac CTS-V. However, with a claimed 800 horsepower on tap thanks in part to running an estimated 20 pounds of boost, it's easy to get over any bad feelings. Built by Tommy Pike Customs in South Carolina, the truck tries to keep the exterior looking somewhat stock. Although, the jade green and satin gold paint, Quaker State logo, lowered suspension and black wheels immediately suggest something is up. Once the F-100 starts up with its menacing growl, absolutely any doubts of this beast being unaltered are immediately gone. Not so obvious are some tweaks to actually help put all that power down, including disc brakes and independent suspension setups at the front and rear. The video gives some glimpses at a few of Pike's other creations, but the real star here is definitely his mean, green Ford.
Cadillac tipped to call flagship something other than LTS
Sun, 21 Sep 2014Cadillac wouldn't be Cadillac without large sedans in its lineup, and while the XTS has had to hold down that end of the fort all on its own, it won't have to for too long. That's because the luxury brand in the General Motors portfolio is preparing to roll out its new LTS, stylistically previewed by the Elmiraj concept pictured above. Only now, the latest thinking is that the upcoming flagship model may not be called LTS at all.
As Automotive News points out, Cadillac's naming scheme is all over the place at the moment. The ATS slotting below the CTS makes sense (alphabetically), but where do the ELR, SRX and especially the Escalade fit into that naming hierarchy? And how would LTS - as the project has been known until now - sit above the XTS?
Fortunately, Cadillac may be on the case, as two of the division's most recent senior appointments seem keen to rationalize the naming scheme. One is Uwe Ellinghaus, who joined Cadillac as chief marketing officer late last year. Speaking of the brand's nomenclature last spring, Ellinghaus was quoted as saying, "We are aware that this is currently a weakness of the Cadillac brand." And his new boss is bound to agree.
