Up for your consideration and with no reserve is this beautiful 1992 Cadillac Euro Fleetwood with just under 160,000 mi. that looks and runs excellent. This car was purchased on eBay as an investment. The car was originally from Minnesota and did have some minor rust issues on the rear quarters and back bumper. This car has recently been restored back to it's original beauty. The rust has been removed and not just covered up by bondo and bumper replaced. New paint with clear coat and pinstriping over $2,500 invested in those repairs. I would like all members to know that this car is 100% rust free and as straight as it should be. It has just been serviced oil change, radiator flushed cleaned and filled with antifreeze, A/C recharged and more. Blue leather interior in excellent condition with some minor wear as to be expected on the drivers seat. This is a non-smokers car and lighters have never been used. The car is located at my home in N. Dallas TX and has passed the states inspection. It does have a clear Minnesota title and can be picked up and driven home no matter how far!

GM recalls 2014 Cadillac CTS recall

Wed, 02 Jul 2014

No, that headline isn't a typo - General Motors has reportedly issued a recall for one of its own recalls. The recall of a recall affects the recall of the 2014 Cadillac CTS, which wasn't supposed to be recalled. Except that the 2014 CTS was supposed to be recalled. Oh no, now we've gone cross-eyed.
Allow us to explain. The redesigned, third-generation CTS Sedan does not feature a faulty ignition switch, while the 2014 CTS Coupe and Wagon, which are based on the second-gen car, do. And as it turns out, there are only 264 of those vehicles included in last week's 8.2-million-unit, ignition-switch recall. Model year 2003 to 2013 CTS Sedans, Coupes and Wagons are still covered.
It's not entirely clear how this, frankly, colossal mistake was made, although we're betting GM is rapidly trying to get to the bottom of this embarrassing issue. Regardless, let's just take what solace we can in there being one less vehicle that GM has recalled this year.

Cadillac to launch Super Cruise semi-autonomous technology in two years [w/video]

Sun, 07 Sep 2014

We all know that self-driving cars are coming. It's not so much a question of If so much as When. And when it comes to General Motors products, we now have something of a date to work with, as Cadillac has announced plans to roll out what it is calling Super Cruise technology in an unnamed new model within the next two years. As you would expect, this new tech can speed the car up, slow it down and keep it in its intended lane, but GM isn't expected to release a fully self-driving car, saying that it will still require "an attentive driver."
We're not quite sure what new model Cadillac will use to launch this new technology, but our best guess would be its upcoming LTS sedan. Other possibilities may include a new crossover - we've heard rumors of CUVS coming from Caddy both above and below the current SRX - or entry-level sedan, but those seem less likely than a high-dollar flagship like the LTS.
The next techy bit of kit currently being shown off by Cadillac engineers includes vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure communication, technology which would seemingly allow cars to travel in close proximity to one another, with less danger of collisions. According to our friends at Engadget, GM is working with the University of Michigan to outfit some 120 miles of roads in and around Detroit, MI, with the requisite sensors to make all this technology possible.

Next-gen Cadillac Escalade debuting October 7 in NYC

Wed, 14 Aug 2013

Cadillac will unveil the next Escalade in October, at an event in New York City. It will be the sole member of GM's large SUV family to not get a debut at the Texas State Fair, which we don't think is all that surprising, considering the kind of clientele attracted by the big Caddy.
The new truck, from the few teaser images and spy shots we've seen, has evolved with the rest of the Cadillac range. We've got a glimpse of its tall, thin headlights, which look like an evolution of what's on the current truck. Expect some kind of egg-crate grille, reminiscent of the new CTS and ATS, while Cadillac's CUE system should feature heavily in what we hope is a thoroughly revised cabin.
The event takes place on October 7, so check back then for more info on the all-new Escalade.
