1991 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham d' Elegance. This car runs good . I bought it from original owners with 150000 miles on it in the fall of 2006. They told me that it is mostly highway miles. When I had it Maryland Inspected It had a portion of the exhaust replaced. It passes the Maryland Vehicle Emissions Test. I have had it a few years and drove it to Myrtle Beach once with no problems. When I purchased this car I put on new cooper tires that now has 14000+ miles on them. I only drive this car in summer months (May through August) mostly out for dinner or visiting family and friends. and it is covered for the winter months.(October through April). I also had replaced the windshield wiper motor, starter, brakes, rear rotor, alternator and battery.Plugs and wires have been replaced.Original owner had water pump replaced. All electrical systems work good.I have replaced passenger side and a rear window motors. However, the rear driver side window will not operate from driver door master control switch ,which I replaced thinking that was the problem but is not.,but does operate from rear door switch. This car has a theft alarm, which the horn and lights go off and on until key is inserted in ignition to turn it off. It has original AM/FM Clock/ Cassette Radio with automatic antenna. It has inside / outside tempeture control digital reading. Heater and Air work but ac could use new charge. Has digital dash with green display. The sunroof does not leak. The cars body in in good shape. The vinyl top has no damage. This car has an automatic transmission and Rear Wheel Drive. The trunk motor works good. Cruise control works good. Maintenance has been kept up. This vehicle qualifies for Historical Tags.**Selling because I am disabled and don't drive very often. Thank You for Looking and Your interest.

Hear the new Cadillac CTS-V torture some tires
Thu, Dec 25 2014The 2016 Cadillac CTS-V seems like the type of wonderful gift that Santa might cook up in his workshop for one extraordinarily good boy or girl. However, the first chance for most people to actually see the super sedan and its carbon fiber pieces in real life is at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show in January. As a stocking stuffer until then, Caddy has released this video highlighting the latest V-Series roasting its tires better than any dinner for the holidays. With the supercharged 6.2-liter V8 from the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 nestled into the CTS-V's engine bay, the Cadillac certainly has quite a bark coming from its exhaust. The mill might be detuned slightly from the 'Vette to 640 horsepower and 630 pound-feet of torque, but that's still plenty for this smoky application. Enjoy this tease of the future V-Series, ahead of the Detroit show. Johan responds to critics again about Cadillac's NY move
Wed, 15 Oct 2014Cadillac's new President Johan de Nysschen has faced a fair amount of criticism since assuming his position at the head of the American luxury manufacturer. From the company's move to New York City to a controversial new naming scheme, the first few months of his tenure have not been smooth sailing. Now, the embattled exec is firing back against his critics, notably Automotive News Editor-in-Chief Keith Crain, in a new column running in AN.
De Nysschen countered Crain's claim that the move to the Big Apple, "can only mean that someone wants to live in New York."
"The relocation decision is entirely unrelated to the personal living preferences of any Cadillac executive. No corporation would tolerate such indulgence by its leadership," de Nysschen wrote. "It is about structurally entrenching a challenge to the status quo by reinforcing the psychological and physical separation in business philosophy between the mainstream brands and GM's luxury brand."
Why Cadillac thinks it needs to succeed in Europe to sell cars elsewhere
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Ward's Auto has taken an interesting look at the renewed focus General Motors is showing towards Cadillac in Europe. Susan Docherty, president and managing director of Chevrolet and Cadillac in Europe (pictured), says in order for the luxury brand to thrive in China, it first needs to succeed in the old country. The reason? Chinese buyers look to Europe for cues as to what's deemed worthy of the term "luxury." There are hurdles to the plan, however. In addition to the fact that the EU is flooded with high-end nameplates, GM doesn't necessarily have the distribution network in place to put buyers behind the wheel.
Combine that with persistent economic woes and Cadillac's checkered past marred by a lack of diesel engine options and a bankrupt distributor, and the road ahead for the brand looks like less of an uphill climb and more like a straight-up cliff face. But Docherty is optimistic and says she has a plan for the brand. We recommend heading over to Ward's for a closer look at the full read.
