Dimensions: this model outside length is 5552 mm / 218.6 in, it’s 1821 mm / 71.7 in wide and has wheelbase of 3414 mm / 134.4 in. Up for auction is a rare, custom, 1985 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 75 Limousine. This is the smallest Limo Cadillac ever built. Only 389 of these were ever built. The Cadillac LaSalle Club considers these small limos to be unique and collector's items. * This "lowrider" limo is in running and driving condition. * Completely rust free and dent free EXCEPT for one dent on the hood. * Custom exterior paint- candy cobalt blue with graphics in good condition- Paid 9,500 just on the paint! * Lots of extras- Shaved door handles. Showtime pump and hydraulics in front and back. Padded Cabriolet vinyl roof (small tear). Prima Royal Velour cloth interior. The blue headliner is in good condition. Automatic headlight dimmers. De Nysschen says Cadillac will be ready for a $250,000 model in 15 years
Fri, Nov 21 2014Cadillac president Johan de Nysschen has some very, very lofty goals for the American luxury car manufacturer. That's according to a new report from Reuters, where the former Audi and Infiniti exec says that Cadillac is only 15 years away from selling a $250,000 car. "It is too early today for a $250,000 Cadillac," de Nysschen told Reuters at the LA Auto Show. "Fifteen years from now, it won't be." Now, provided de Nysschen doesn't envision a future of hyper-inflation, where an ATS rings up at $200K and a CTS at $225,000, the idea that Cadillac could sell a car worth a quarter-of-a-million dollars in just 15 short years is the very definition of ambitious. That's doubly true when you realize that, at present, Cadillac's most expensive vehicle is the Escalade ESV Platinum, which costs no more than $97,940, while de Nysschen said the upcoming CT6 sedan will be priced "in the 70s." Fri, Jan 30 2015Something always feels just a little taboo when someone builds a custom and then slots in a powertrain from a rival automaker. That's exactly the case with this modded 1969 Ford F-100 boasting a highly tuned LSA supercharged V8 like from the second-gen Cadillac CTS-V. However, with a claimed 800 horsepower on tap thanks in part to running an estimated 20 pounds of boost, it's easy to get over any bad feelings. Built by Tommy Pike Customs in South Carolina, the truck tries to keep the exterior looking somewhat stock. Although, the jade green and satin gold paint, Quaker State logo, lowered suspension and black wheels immediately suggest something is up. Once the F-100 starts up with its menacing growl, absolutely any doubts of this beast being unaltered are immediately gone. Not so obvious are some tweaks to actually help put all that power down, including disc brakes and independent suspension setups at the front and rear. The video gives some glimpses at a few of Pike's other creations, but the real star here is definitely his mean, green Ford.
