This car has been loved from the moment it was bought, directly from the factory in Tennessee. I bought this car from a friend of mine who had it in storage since he bought it from the original owner. I'm not a collector but I have done a little bit of research on the car. It is one of only 100 Fleetwood Brougham's made by Cadillac in 1970. It has a powerful 472 V-8, which according to many Cadillac enthusiasts, is one of the best engines they ever made because it had 30% fewer parts than the 1969 472. The engine runs great, I had my mechanic come by and he said the engine is in incredible shape. Normal wear and tear for a 40+ year old car. The interior is in really good shape. All gauges work, the radio might not be hooked up (I don't know enough about electronics to check). I'm happy to try to answer any questions anybody might have. Serious inquiries only of course. I know I'm listing this car for less than it's worth but I have to sell it. This is a great opportunity for a collector or someone who wants a really cool cruiser. Cadillac snags de Nysschen from Infiniti, names him new president
Fri, 11 Jul 2014Johan de Nysschen, the (now former) president of Infiniti, has officially jumped ship. The 54-year-old, who also spent time as the chief executive for Audi USA, has taken the position of president at Cadillac, following a two-year stint at the Nissan-owned luxury brand. In his new role, the 54-year-old will be responsible "for all aspects of Cadillac globally," according to a statement from General Motors.
"Johan brings to our company vast experience in the development and proper execution of luxury automotive brands," said GM President Dan Ammann, de Nysschen's new boss. "With over 20 years in this exact space, especially in the development of the Audi brand, his track record proves he is the perfect executive to lead Cadillac for the long term."
"I have for some time now been impressed by how the new General Motors has been transformed into a formidable force in the industry," de Nysschen said in a statement. "The combination of strong corporate leadership and exceptional engineering resources presents the perfect combination to restore Cadillac to its place among global premium brands."
Cadillac Offering $100 For Test Drives

Cadillac is hoping to jumpstart sluggish sales with a generous offer to customers to get them into dealerships and perhaps behind the wheel of their very own Caddy. Cadillac is giving a $100 gift card to any insured car owners age 21 or older who drive non-GM vehicles built after 2004, WDIV reported. If you buy a Cadillac, the automaker is offering an additional $1,500 plus other incentives. Such sales promotions have worked well in the past, analysts told The Detroit News. Cadillac had strong sales last year, but sales are down 7.3 percent this quarter compared to the first quarter last year. Cadillac will run the promotion until the end of the month.
