1942 CADILLAC Series 63 4 door sedan, body by fleetwood Original flat head v/8 with a 3 speed manuel transmission. This car has only 60,000 original miles. A rust free 100% complete,running,driving and registered california car. This car was stored in an airplane hanger for more than 30 years. It has all the original interior, trim panels,headliner,moldings,emblems trim and even the pull handles.Their were only 1750 series 63's made, before the war halted production. This car has the original factory locking gas cap that is keyed to the trunk and glove box. There is no cracked glass, and all the windows roll up and down with no effort. The car leaks no oil, and the clutch works as new. This is a one of a kind remarkably perserved 71 year old car. a very rare find. |

Cadillac Offering $100 For Test Drives

Cadillac is hoping to jumpstart sluggish sales with a generous offer to customers to get them into dealerships and perhaps behind the wheel of their very own Caddy. Cadillac is giving a $100 gift card to any insured car owners age 21 or older who drive non-GM vehicles built after 2004, WDIV reported. If you buy a Cadillac, the automaker is offering an additional $1,500 plus other incentives. Such sales promotions have worked well in the past, analysts told The Detroit News. Cadillac had strong sales last year, but sales are down 7.3 percent this quarter compared to the first quarter last year. Cadillac will run the promotion until the end of the month. Cadillac HQ has a New York address
Sun, 16 Nov 2014The new home of Cadillac will be in the 330 Hudson building in New York City's Hudson Square, putting the luxury marque smack dab in the middle of three of the city's hippest areas, SoHo, Greenwich Village and Tribeca.
The announcement is yet another milestone in the company's controversial decision to relocate administrative and marketing operations away from Detroit and into the Big Apple.
"The addition of a headquarters office in New York is a key step in Cadillac's ongoing global expansion," Cadillac boss Johan de Nysschen said, according to The Detroit Free Press. "There is no better atmosphere in which to better immerse ourselves into luxury consumer and brand expertise."
Seinfeld and Don Rickles stretch out in classic Caddy for latest CiCGC
Thu, 04 Jul 2013It's no surprise that for the newest episode of Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, airing for the first time on the 4th of July, that a couple of American classics are involved. You'll Never Play the Copa unites Seinfeld with legendary curmudgeon Don Rickles, driving around in a stunner of a 1958 Cadillac Eldorado Seville in Gleneagles Green (upholstery wrapped in Grandma-spec plastic, of course).
Mr. Rickles really steals the show in this one - maybe our favorite CiCGC to date - though the Eldorado plays a strong-jawed costarring role, for sure. Stories about Ronald Regan, Frank Sinatra, Billy Graham and, of course, Herkie Styles are more than worth the price of admission. Check it out below.
