This vehicle is being sold by my father-in-law through me.

This is 1 of 200 1985 Cadillac Biarritz convertibles in black with carmine red leather interior. Only around 200 were made in black in 1985. Rare and beautiful. A real low mile - head turning car that will make you say wow. This car is absolutely one of my favorites to tool around town in, but lack of use prompts sale. Plus I have purchased another classic car to work with.

Beautiful cars don't always come up for sale and it's a special car that I hope goes to the right owner. This Cadillac Convertible has a great history , low miles. I've driven it sparingly over the last year. and totally pampered. Factory original condition and no restoration needed. Save your money and headache and buy the perfect one. I have the original window sticker laminated and all owners manuals.  Garaged and always serviced. I have meticulous records from the previous owner.

The ride and drive is amazing and reflects that great classic Cadillac smooth ride. It's like a cross between a Bentley and Cadillac. These are destined to be a true collectible. Loved by all age groups. Its values are sure to increase as they were only produced for two years, 1984 and 1985. This is a solid investment. Classic cars with low miles are getting harder to find.

Check out the cool factory options:

Add ons:

The car runs and drives perfectly. The car starts right up and shifts smoothly. Motor and transmission are very healthy. The battery is new. All electronics are working - lights, gauges, speedometer, odometer, signals, windows and radio. AC blows cold. Tires and brakes are excellent. Oil has been changed. Power top works great - new power top cylinders. Vinyl top is in excellent condition with no rips and tears. Car does not need anything and can be driven anywhere with confidence.

GM to add 1,200 workers at 2 Michigan factories

Sat, Feb 29 2020

DETROIT — General Motors is adding 1,200 jobs at two Michigan factories to build midsize SUVs and two new luxury sedans. GM said Friday that its Lansing Delta Township plant will get a third shift and 800 more workers to build the Chevrolet Traverse and Buick Enclave SUVs, which have three rows of seats. The Lansing Grand River plant will get a second shift and 400 more workers to build two new Cadillac sedans, the CT4 and CT5. Employees laid off at other GM factories will fill the new jobs first, then workers will be added, GM spokesman Dan Flores said. The company has not determined yet how many new people will be needed, he said. Both additional shifts will start working sometime between April and June, the company said. Lansing Delta Township now employs about 2,500 salaried and blue-collar workers, while the Grand River plant has 1,400. GM sold more than 147,000 Traverse SUVs in the U.S. last year, a 0.4% increase from 2018. Enclave sales were up 3% to just over 51,000, according to Autodata Corp. Related Video:

2017 Cadillac XT5 will debut in Dubai

Tue, Sep 8 2015

Cadillac confirmed the 2017 XT5 crossover – the replacement for the SRX – will officially debut at the Dubai Motor Show in November. The XT5 will then make its first North American appearance at the Los Angeles Auto Show later that month. The current SRX is a hugely important vehicle for Cadillac – it's still the company's best-selling product worldwide. But it's pretty old now, having launched in 2009 as a 2010 model. The XT5 will bolster all of the good things about the SRX while finally bringing that product up to date. Above, you can see a spy shot of what looks to be the new XT5, caught during a photo shoot. "The XT5 will be the cornerstone of a series of crossovers bearing the 'XT' designation," Cadillac said in a statement. We've long known that Cadillac wants to add a CUV between the XT5 and its flagship Escalade. But we think there's also room for something smaller – a proper fighter to the expanding entry-level luxury crossover segment that includes the Mercedes-Benz GLA, BMW X1, upcoming Infiniti QX30, and more. We'll have more information on the 2017 XT5 this week. In addition to the auto show news, Cadillac confirmed it will have a few photos and details to share in the coming days. Stay tuned.

First-edition Detroit muscle raises millions for charity at Barrett-Jackson

Mon, Jan 19 2015

Amidst all the classic metal crossing the auction block each year in Scottsdale, AZ, Detroit automakers have a tradition of donating the first examples of their most enticing new muscle cars, with the proceeds of their sales going towards worthwhile charities. This year, Barrett-Jackson handled three noteworthy examples. The highest price among them was the first Ford Shelby GT350R Mustang with the VIN #001, which raised $1 million for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. General Motors donated the first new Chevy Corvette Z06 Convertible, the first retail example of the droptop supercar garnering $800,000 for the United Way. Along with the Z06, GM also donated the first new 2016 Cadillac CTS-V sedan, which brought in $170,000 for Detroit's College for Creative Studies. Although these were the headline Motown muscle machines furnished by the automakers themselves, they weren't the only vehicles auctioned off for worthy causes. A 1950 GM Futurliner bus donated by collector Ron Pratte led the charge when it brought in $4.65 million for the Armed Forces Foundation. Other lots included a custom Jeep Wrangler donated by SEMA ($85k), a new M5 donated by BMW ($800k), a '79 Oldsmobile Cutlass Hurst ($140k), '39 Cadillac LaSalle C-Hawk ($410k), Jeff Gordon's 1999 NASCAR-spec Chevy Monte Carlo ($500k) and a Victory Cross Country 8-Ball motorcycle ($180k). All told, the charity lots raised over $8.7 million for local and national charities.
