He died and my mom has no need for it. It has 24873 miles but my sister might drive it every now and then but it should still have less than 25,000 miles by the end of the auction. It has aftermarket rubber floor mats covering the factory carpet floor mats. It's a graphite color with a cream color interior. The top of the dash is brown. Petty well loaded car. Has heated and cooled seats, heated steering wheel, chrome alloy wheels, memory seats, remote start, sunroof as well as most normal Cadillac options. If you want me to check to see if it has a specific option, email me. I think that if you give a GM dealer the VIN they can tell you exactly what options the car has. Has a couple of scratches on the roof (in the big picture this is the picture with the quarters). Has a scratch and a rubbed place on the left rear door that should polish out. There's a picture of that too. I put that there is no warranty but you might give the VIN number to your local GM dealer to find out if there is any remaining transferable factory warranty. There is just no warranty from my mom. $500 down payment with PayPal within five business days of the end of the auction and the balance in cash and the car must be picked up within 10 working days of the end of the auction. If these conditions are not met the down payment will be forfeit and the car will be relisted. The car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early and cancel all bids. If you want to fly in and drive it home, we can pick you up at HTS, transfer the title, and you can get an Ohio temporary tag. Any questions, just email me but right before the end of the auction. GM to add 1,200 workers at 2 Michigan factories

DETROIT — General Motors is adding 1,200 jobs at two Michigan factories to build midsize SUVs and two new luxury sedans. GM said Friday that its Lansing Delta Township plant will get a third shift and 800 more workers to build the Chevrolet Traverse and Buick Enclave SUVs, which have three rows of seats. The Lansing Grand River plant will get a second shift and 400 more workers to build two new Cadillac sedans, the CT4 and CT5. Employees laid off at other GM factories will fill the new jobs first, then workers will be added, GM spokesman Dan Flores said. The company has not determined yet how many new people will be needed, he said. Both additional shifts will start working sometime between April and June, the company said. Lansing Delta Township now employs about 2,500 salaried and blue-collar workers, while the Grand River plant has 1,400. GM sold more than 147,000 Traverse SUVs in the U.S. last year, a 0.4% increase from 2018. Enclave sales were up 3% to just over 51,000, according to Autodata Corp. Related Video:

Cadillac, Daimler execs take swipes at Tesla

Despite the financial ties between Daimler and Tesla Motors, at least one Mercedes exec thinks the electric automaker doesn't have a bright future. And over at Cadillac, the message is that Tesla doesn't pose a threat but offers the luxury arm of General Motors more of classroom experience. The Mercedes story runs like this. Mercedes-Benz USA president and CEO, Steve Cannon, said at the New York Auto Show last week that Tesla has "no network" and only offers "little shops that don't have service capacity." He also said: "Folks are buying a Tesla now because they're kind of cool, but if you're a Tesla buyer, you have to have multiple cars. With Mercedes, you have a whole network. You've got no worries. ... Tesla is great, but you've got plenty of well-established brands that mean luxury, like Porsche or Mercedes-Benz, and how long do you think we're going to wait and let Tesla be out there alone [selling premium electric cars]?" "Treehuggers do not buy new luxury cars" – Uwe Ellinghaus For Cadillac's global chief marketing officer, Uwe Ellinghaus, Tesla's EV success represents little other than "a great opportunity and a learning exercise for all of us, and will help us traditional manufacturers to think twice about electric mobility." He added that, "I am not afraid of Tesla. ... There is no willingness to really sacrifice on the traditional qualities of a luxury car. These are not cars for treehuggers, as treehuggers do not buy new luxury cars." Ellinghaus made the comments during a panel discussion at the 2014 Automotive Forum. Perhaps the lesson of Tesla's offer of free Supercharging to Model S owners is what led to Cadillac to recently announce a deal with Chargepoint that gives ELR drivers access to that company's 16,500 charging stations.
