2007 Cadillac Dts High Top Eight Passenger Five Door Limousine Built By Lcw on 2040-cars
Tampa, Florida, United States
Up for auction is a very unique and elegant limousine. if you are looking for a cheap assembly line slap together prom limo look elsewhere. This limousine is a custom built vehicle from bumper to bumper. This vehicle was purchasede NEW for $103,000.00 and only has 61,000 miles on it today. To start with it is built by LCW Coachworks which builds only custom private limousines. They took a 2007 Cadillac Livery Sedan with heavy duty breaks and heavy duty suspension and cut it in back of the b pillar (front doors) and stretched it 130 inches. the stretch is a reinforced all steel system on the floor, with H crosses on the sides sides and roof. Put as many people in it as you want and it will never sag. They then raised the roof three inches and put an entire firberglass roof on it so it will never rust. The interior space is absolutely beautiful. The raised roof gives it an open feel. The passenger side has an added door in the rear compartment just behind the front passenger door for easy in and out of all guests.
Mechanically the vehicle is perfect and everything works in it and it looks new in and out. Figure out the miles and it has gone less than 9,000 miles a year. LCW Specifications include: 130" Extension to include a fifth door on passenger side. Solid tinted safety windows on each side. Insulation in roof,
side panels, & floor
Mirrored cieling with edge lighting One huge Side Bar down the entire passenger side, plus glassholders behind passenger seating on the drivers side. Two small bars near front divider- one on drivers side and one in fifth door.
9" Pusher fan for ice cold rear air. Pictures do not do it justice. We have new 2014 Limousines coming in so this one has to go to another home. Ask any questions you like by ebay email so we can post answers |

What will the next Presidential limo look like?
Thu, 25 Jul 2013With recent news that the Secret Service has begun soliciting proposals for a new armored limousine, we've been wondering what the next presidential limo might look like. The current machine, nicknamed "The Beast", has a design based on a car that's no longer sold: the Cadillac DTS. If General Motors gets the job again, which wouldn't be a surprise considering the government still owns a chunk of the company, the next limo's shape would likely resemble the new XTS (below, left). But Cadillac hasn't always been the go-to car company for presidential whips.
Lincoln has actually provided far more presidential limousines throughout history than Cadillac. In fact, the first car modified for Commander-in-Chief-carrying duty was a 1939 Lincoln K-Series called "Sunshine Special" used by Franklin D. Roosevelt, and the last Lincoln used by a president was a 1989 Town Car ordered for George H.W. Bush. If President Obama wanted a Lincoln today, it would likely be an amalgam of the MKS sedan and MKT crossover, as illustrated above.
And what about Chrysler? The only record we could find of a President favoring the Pentastar is Nixon, who reportedly ordered two limos from the company during his administration in the '70s, and then another one, known today as the "K-Car limo," in the '80s after he left office. Obama, however, has a personal - if modest - connection to Chryslers, having owned a 300 himself before he took office. A 300-based Beast (above, right) would certainly earn the U.S. some style points.
Cadillac finds a few more horsepower for ATS-V
Wed, Mar 25 2015We've rarely found cause to complain about a car getting more power, and guess what? That's not going to change here. After initially announcing that the new ATS-V would come to market with a Corvette-matching 455 horsepower, Cadillac has come back with an SAE-certified 464 horsepower. That, as Automobile points out, puts the high-performance ATS in spitting distance of the base Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG and its 469 hp. Anyone else feeling bad for owners of the 425-hp BMW M3? While the ATS-V is getting a bit more grunt, somehow, we doubt Cadillac will adjust its previously published performance figures. Expect 60 miles per hour to arrive in 3.9 seconds, with a top speed of 185 mph. As of this writing, a lucky Autoblog staffer is lapping the ATS-V around Circuit of the Americas in Austin as part of the sedan's big launch. So while we can't fill you in on its real-world performance just yet, expect a big update soon. Related Video:
