Hey guys You are looking at my 2004 Cadillac Deville DTS model with around 109,000 miles on it. I bought the car over 4 years ago and she's been well taking care of as I have OCD and like to keep my cars in like new condition. I am a Cadillac person all I ever owned so I know these cars very well and know how to take care of them, Nicest DTS around. 2004 models and on have the updated 2MIL head bolt design that made head gasket fails of the earlier cars almost vanish, its also the last year with the 300HP Northstar L37 as in 2005 the engines where down rated to 290HP. The car is loaded with all options being a top of the line DTS, including BOSE radio, XM radio, heated and cooled front seats, heated rear seats, two driver memory recall, rear park assist sensors, 6 CD changer and much more, only thing missing is a sunroof and navigation which would be outdated by now anyway as GM update Discs are only made for a few years. The car has black leather inside and is Black Raven outside. I have put many new parts and repairs on the car since I owned it plus have most of her history as I have records from the owner before me plus mine over the last 4 years and I only use OEM parts, car is stock except a Morimoto 4300 factory look HID kit from the retrofit source as the low beams and can be removed if wanted and I replaced the OEM grill with a OEM 2005 chrome limited edition Deville grill they were a special order option for $500 bucks on 2005 Deville's. The car runs good for her age no dash lights, though the right rear window regulator needs fixing I might fix it before I sell it or include a new one with sale, car has a small chip on rear bumper and small scratches here and there that are expected of a 10 YO car other wise paints flawless, i would love to sell her to someone who understands N* Caddys and is not going to run it into the ground. Other things I cant remember got to dig thru receipts! |

North American Car, Truck and SUV of the Year finalists revealed
Thu, Nov 17 2022The finalists for the 2023 North American Car, Truck and Utility Vehicle of the Year Awards were announced Thursday at the L.A. Auto Show. — The Acura Integra, Genesis Electrified G80 and Nissan Z made the cut in the car category. — The Ford F-150 Lightning, Chevy Silverado ZR2 and Lordstown Endurance advanced in trucks. — And the Cadillac Lyriq, Genesis GV60 and Kia EV6 advanced among utilities. The winners will be announced Jan. 11 in Detroit. The finalists underscored the industryÂ’s shift to electric vehicles, as all three utilities and two of the three trucks are EVs. The finalists were culled from a list of 26 semifinalists made up of three trucks, 10 cars and 16 utility vehicles that are new this year. Notables that missed the cut include the Mercedes EQE, Subaru WRX and Toyota GR Corolla in cars; while the Honda CR-V, Kia Sportage and Rivian R1S were among the utes that did not advance. The three trucks are the only ones eligible this year and have advanced through the voting. 50 jurors who work for media outlets across North America vote three times over the course of the year to whittle down the field, which was originally 47 vehicles. Jurors also test the semifinalists at an October group event in Ann Arbor, Mich. The Honda Civic (car), Ford Maverick (truck) and Ford Bronco (utility vehicle) were the 2022 winners. Reuss says Cadillac CT6-based Buick could happen
Wed, Apr 15 2015Could the upcoming Cadillac CT6 and its Omega platform spawn a Buick variant? According to General Motors' product chief Mark Reuss, it could potentially be in the cards, but "not yet." "We're working on that," Reuss told Automotive News at the 2015 New York Auto Show. While there hasn't been a large, rear-drive Buick on dealerships since the Roadmaster in 1996, the company gave a big hint that it could head in that direction with the Avenir Concept, shown earlier this year at the Detroit Auto Show. As Automotive News explains, a rear-drive Omega-platform Buick could be a real hit in China, where consumers buy 13 Buicks for every one Cadillac. That move would be a big help to GM's bottom line, too, as it'd significantly increase the Omega platform's economy of scale. If a large Buick based on the CT6 were to head to China, though, it likely wouldn't be a simple case of badge engineering (thank God). Reuss hinted to Automotive News that while the mixed-material construction of the CT6 platform "is very flexible," doing an "identical version of that platform or not is a different conversation."
