You are bidding on an original one owner 2000 Florida Cadillac Deville DTS with 40,659 miles. As the original window sticker shows, this car cost $49,000 new and was sold by Dew Cadillac in St. Petersburg, Florida. The paint color is Cabernet and the leather interior is a light Tan. The paint shines like new, looks all original and, apart from a couple of small scratches on the hood, shows no fading or peeling anywhere on the car. Similarly, no signs of corrosion can be detected anywhere on the car, either on top or underneath. The leather interior is in great condition and still smells new. The car has almost every option (except a sunroof) and in addition to the usual options, even includes power heated messaging seats and backup sensors. All the options and power equipment work properly. The car starts easily, and is powerful and quiet. The transmission shifts perfectly and the car is a real pleasure to drive. 2014 Cadillac CTS configurator open for business

Cadillac has just set the new configurator for the redesigned, 2014 CTS live. While we've already tested out the new CTS, this is our first chance to play with all the interior and exterior color options and to get a fair idea of the price. The new CTS covers a broad swath from the $46,025 base model, with the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, to the $59,995 VSport, complete with its brawny, 3.6-liter twin-turbocharged V6.
It doesn't take much to send the CTS's price up from there, though. Opt for the VSport Premium trim, and the price immediately jumps $10,000. Opting for one of the premium paint colors is all that's needed to nudge the CTS past $70,000. For reference, a 556-horsepower CTS-V (previous-generation, naturally) starts at $64,515.

Cadillac SRX production moving to TN, next-gen Equinox going to Mexico

It's a good week for the town of Spring Hill, TN, as General Motors has announced that its factory in the city of 31,000 will receive a $185 million contract to produce engines. On top of that, the next-generation Cadillac SRX crossover will be built at the factory (NA models are presently built in Ramos, Arizpe Mexico), which was once famous for being the home of GM's now-defunct Saturn brand.
The factory is one of GM's six facilities around the globe that will screw together the company's new line of three- and four-cylinder Ecotec engines. Spring Hill currently builds the 2.0-liter, turbocharged Ecotec, as well as the naturally aspirated 2.4 and 2.5-liter variants.
Spring Hill's vehicle assembly lines were idled in 2009, but were reactivated in 2011. The SRX is just one of the products meant to benefit from last year's $350-million investment, and should have a positive impact, creating or retaining around 1,800 positions at the factory.
