I have a 1995 Cadilllac Sedan Deville. It has been owned by my friends grandfather since 1999. It only has 75000 original miles on it. The car is mechanically sound. The grandfather could no longer drive so I purchased it a little over a year ago. I drove the car up from Dallas, Texas and would trust it to go anywhere. The car is very comfortable and drives smooth. Due to the previous owners age there are a few dings and scratches around the car from him bumping into the garage door, but nothing major. The interior is absolutly perfect. Power everthing, large comfortable seating, great sounding stereo. This is a great chance to get a low mileage luxary vehicle for a good price. Car gets great mileage, 22mpg on the highway. This car DOES NOT have the problematic northstar engine, it has the 4.9 liter v8.

Cadillac flagship, possible production Elimiraj, caught testing
Fri, 30 Aug 2013One of the biggest debuts at the Monterey car week, both literally and figuratively, was the Cadillac Elmiraj Concept. The massive coupe made quite a splash with the show's well-heeled guests. Now, we have what might be the very first images of the Elmiraj, or whatever it may be called when it reaches production, out testing.
Don't let that modified Chevrolet Caprice body fool you, this car is about four to six inches longer than Chevy's US-spec cop car, from the A-pillar forward. According to our spy, with the Caprice at 203 inches and the concept at 205, adding a few extra inches here and there fits the bill for the four-door Elmiraj that was hinted at in Jay Leno's Garage.
There are a number of other classic mule signs on this car, including a cover over the fuel door and heavily modified front and rear fascias, each of which serves to hide some significant change from the standard Caprice. Using a Caprice for development also, hopefully, hints at something that big Cadillacs like the XTS have lacked - rear-wheel drive.
Cadillac mulling CTS Coupe successor after all
Thu, 04 Apr 2013The 2014 Cadillac CTS made a big splash last week at the New York Auto Show, but now that we've seen the sedan, we can start to wonder about whether coupe and wagon versions are in the cards. According to Edmunds, Cadillac is at least considering bringing back the CTS Coupe for a second generation, which seems like an even better chance since the brand's global marketing director, Jim Vurpillat, was quoted as saying that the car was the top-selling luxury coupe in the industry.
Of course, this goes against reports we heard last year that Caddy's coupe and wagon would live on just not under the CTS name, but the interview with Vurpillat has us hopeful for a next-generation CTS Coupe. If it does come to fruition, we would expect the new two-door to have a largely unique exterior design like the current CTS Coupe, to echo that of intended rivals like the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe and even the high-dollar BMW 6 Series.
