3 DAY ACTION ONLY!! This is the 3rd time for listing this because of non paying bidders. If you dont want it or dont have the money DONT BID!!!!!!!!! Up for bids is a 2000 Cadillac DHS. If youre a Cadillac guy you know the DHS is all luxury. Absolutely loaded with options! All seats are heated, the rear even are heated with power lumbar etc. It has the power rear window shade along with many, many other options. This car is like so many others out there as it has the head gasket problem but, this one DOES NOT have the oil in the water, just looses it through the exhaust so the repair would be easily done with no internal damage. It runs great and doesnt overheat immediately, could probably drive it some as long as you kept watch on the water level but any distance I would haul it to be safe.. Till I recently purchased it, it had the same owner since 2002. The owner was a pastor of a large church in North Carolina. The top has cracked up from sitting in the NC sun so much I guess. It shows in a couple of the pics i added. The interior is very, very, nice and clean. It shows very little wear to be the age it is. The pics make the carpet look dirty but it is very clean. Passenger side and the rear looks new. I dont think this car has ever been smoked in. The body is nice with no rust. The hood and trunk show a little hail damage but not bad. The rest of the body is nice with only a few nics etc from normal wear, nothing major. One center cap is gone from the wheels which are chrome and very nice and shiny. Tires are about new and are high dollar Michelins. This car is very clean guys and has been well taken care of. Also remember it is a 2000 model not a new one. Ask any questions you may have before bidding. This is a sharp car and with a little work it will last a long time. My feedback is 100% positive guys so rest assure your dealing with an honest ebayer. Bidders with 5 or less feedback must contact me before bidding or I will cancel your bid. Not trying to be hard to get along with but theres to many bidders out there that have no intention on paying. I require a $500 deposit at auctions end and the balance in full within 3 days. Thanks for looking and good luck should you decide to bid on this very nice, extra clean Cadillac. This car comes with a clear NC title. THIS IS BEING RELISTED BECAUSE OF A NON PAYING BIDDER. IF YOU CANT OR WONT PAY PLEASE DONT BID!!!!!!!!!

Three automotive tech trends to watch in 2018 and beyond
Thu, Dec 28 2017Every year, technology plays a bigger and bigger role in the auto industry. To put things in perspective, 10 years ago iPod integration and Bluetooth were cutting-edge in-car innovations, and smartphones and apps weren't yet a thing since the first iPhone was only about six months old. And I can't recall anyone talking about autonomous cars. Compare that to today, with mainstream coverage of the auto industry dominated by autonomous technology, along with electrification and almost every move made by Tesla. These three topics were the most significant trends of car tech in 2017 and I believe they will continue to shape the auto industry in 2018 and beyond. Let's examine them. Full Autonomy Gets Closer to Reality While there were many developments this year that indicate we're inching closer to fully autonomous vehicles, I was behind the wheel for hours to witness one of them. In October I had the chance to test Cadillac Super Cruise on a 700-mile, 11-hour drive from Dallas to Santa Fe – and had my hands on the wheel for maybe 45 minutes max throughout the entire trip. Super Cruise is far from making the Cadillac CT6 or any GM vehicle fully autonomous, and has limitations such as functioning only on pre-mapped main highways. While it simply adds a layer of lane centering to adaptive cruise control, the technology will go a long way in making mainstream drivers more comfortable with letting machines take over. On a separate front, GM is pushing ahead with fully autonomous vehicles and announced last month that it plans to launch of fleets of self-driving robo-taxis in several urban areas in 2019. While most automakers are also in the race to make autonomous cars a reality, GM's turbocharging of its efforts appeared to be in response to Waymo, which announced just weeks earlier that its Early Rider Program in the Phoenix area would go completely driverless. The Early Rider Program launched last April, offering the public a chance to ride in Waymo's autonomous Chrysler Pacifica minivans. In this new phase of testing, Waymo is using its own employees as guinea pigs instead of the public while the vehicles operate without a human behind the wheel, and takes another giant step forward for fully autonomous driving.
GM slashes prices in China as sales falter
Thu, May 14 2015Buying a vehicle from General Motors' stable of brands might be a lot cheaper in the near future – at least for customers in China. The effort comes as GM hopes to keep sales there growing, and the decision alludes to yet another sign that the Asian country no longer has the booming auto market of past years. GM and its Chinese joint venture partner SAIC are slashing prices by as much as the equivalent to $8,700 on 40 models from Buick, Chevrolet, and Cadillac, according to The Detroit News. Across all of automaker's nameplates, the overall sales dipped in China in April by 0.4 percent to 258,484 vehicles. Among the drops, Buick was down 8.5 percent, and Chevy shrunk 5.6 percent. Caddy's numbers increased 4.6 percent for the month, though. Buick remains a popular brand in the minds of Chinese consumers, but according to The Detroit News domestic automakers there are starting to eat into the dominance of foreign companies in the market. The country remains important for GM, though. Late last year, it outlined a future strategy that included China as a major pillar, including a $14 billion investment to build five new factories and boost sales. Cadillac chief says ATS convertible, wagon on the table
Wed, 15 Jan 2014What we do know is that the ATS will wear at least one more bodystyle. That comes from Cadillac head Bob Ferguson, who answered "Absolutely" when Automotive News asked him about the possibility of another variant. What we don't know is what that bodystyle or styles will be.
We now have a sedan and coupe ATS, there's supposedly a V sedan coming. After that, a convertible is a likely option given that the man who just became the global product honcho at General Motors, Mark Reuss, admitted to having one already designed in 2012. The decision on it can't get out of the underworld and a wagon is the other option, but the droptop would seem to make the most sense if one considers the competitive set: the BMW 4 Series and Audi A5 convertibles are hot property and Mercedes is bringing a C-Class convertible. Meanwhile wagons are the sentimental utility vehicles that, refusing to die, seem forever destined for life support... CTS Sport Wagon, anyone?
Based on Ferguson's statements, it appears that what Cadillac definitely won't do is play model variant catch-up with the European luxury brands it has spent years hunting down, telling Automotive News, "We want to keep our focus on a limited number of vehicles and do them very well."
