2003 Cadillac Deville 36k Miles on 2040-cars
Schererville, Indiana, United States
Up for sale is a 2003 Cadillac DeVille with only 36,xxx miles. The care has been taken care of and barely driven for it's entire life span. Elderly owned and driven. The interior of the car is a 9.9/10 and the exterior is a 9/10 only due to a few small scratches and a couple small dings. Other than that, the car is extremely clean and really matches up to the low miles it has.
The car is full loaded with 10 way power leather seats, one touch auto windows (really convenient), auto locks, heated seats front and back, power mirrors with turn signal markers, cruise control, AC, CD player and cassette, optional middle seat in front to seat 6 total, drop down rear arm rest with folding pass through center for access to trunk, remote keyless entry, steering wheel controls, three zone heating/AC climate control, cloth floor mats in great shape, reading lamps, and more. The car has a fresh oil change, new air filter and cabin air filter, all fluids checked and maintained, new wipers, and tires with lots of tread left. The vehicle is extremely clean and well kept. The only small issues with the vehicle are the few minor scratches and dings mentioned above, there is a dent on the bottom left diver's side that is purely cosmetic, and the car makes a slight ticking sound which sounds like the air compressor filling the rear air shocks (the noise lasts for about 15 seconds then stops and does not affect driving whatsoever). That's why we've priced it below what others in the 50-60k mileage range are selling for. Other than that the vehicle is as clean as you can get with no lights on and drives great. It's definitely about as clean as you're to get. The Cadillac will come with a clear title, no warranty sold as is. Thank you for looking and good luck bidding. Feel free to message with any questions. |

Cadillac bids farewell to CTS-V Coupe with special edition
Mon, 12 May 2014With the introduction of the latest Cadillac CTS, we knew it would only be a matter of time before a new CTS-V would come along. Now General Motors has revealed that the next CTS-V will arrive sometime next year, but before it does, the company is sending off the outgoing coupe with a special edition.
For 2015, the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe will come in a limited edition of 500 units decked out with a dark grille treatment, satin-finish wheels, red brake calipers and an upgraded cabin. The interior is decked out Recaro seats trimmed in black with red stitching, Midnight Sapele wood trim, metal pedals and a microsuede-trimmed steering wheel and shifter.
Buyers will be able to opt for white, gray or optional black exterior paint, an available sunroof and a six-speed transmission in either manual or automatic configuration. Of course, the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 comes standard with 556 horsepower, as does Magnetic Ride Control and brakes by Brembo. Pricing will be announced closer to launch, but in the mean time, you can read all there is to know by checking out the official release below.
Carpool Deville aims to be the world's fastest hot tub
Wed, 16 Jul 2014The world needs crazy inventors with wild dreams. While we might not long for the things that they create, their contraptions certainly make the day a little more enjoyable. Take the Carpool Deville as an example. Nobody (well, almost nobody) is asking for a hot tub fashioned from a 1969 Cadillac that is still drivable. But now that you know that such a beast exists, don't try to tell us you aren't at least intrigued.
The team behind the six-year-long project has a pretty ingenious setup worked out. The Caddy's original 472-cubic-inch (7.7-liter) V8 both provides propulsion and heats the water. The interior is entirely replaced with a watertight, fiberglass tub that includes working jets, and the controls are all done by hand.
As if just building a mobile hot tub isn't enough, the team behind the Carpool Deville plans to take it racing too. Specifically, they intend to go to the Bonneville Salt Flats later this year to make a top speed run while immersed in water at over 100 degrees. They even have a roll cage all set to install to meet the safety requirements there.
Meet the next president's new Beast, a giant bomb-proof limo
Fri, Jan 22 2016We don't know who will be our president in 2017, but now we have a better idea of how that person will be transported on land. The next presidential limo, officially referred to as the presidential state car, will be another Cadillac. And a big one. You're looking at a lone spy photo of a car that will be of high interest to actual spies – not to mention Secret Service agents and lots of law-enforcement types. President Obama has been riding around in a Cadillac nicknamed The Beast for a while now. (It recently made an appearance on Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.) Over the Secret Service radios, it goes by Cadillac One and Limo One. While the current car looks like a stretched Cadillac DTS sedan, it's actually kind of huge and built on a Chevrolet Kodiak medium-duty truck chassis. The same is likely to be true again, but this one will look a lot more like the latest Cadillac models. Through the camo we can see a front end reminiscent of the new CT6 large sedan. Imagine one of those scaled to about 5/3 of the production car and you've got the right idea. Fun fact: It will be the first presidential limo to feature Caddy's new wreathless crest logo on its grille. View 6 Photos As for features, we're in the dark and will remain so even after the new president-mover goes into service. The details are a legitimate matter of national security, but you can bet it's bulletproof, can withstand small bombs, and has some kind of onboard secondary air supply in case of a chemical or biomedical warfare attack. Oh, and it has that big red phone in back in the event things get really bad. The new one will no doubt carry the latest communications and safety technology. The new presidential limousine has been in the works for some time. The government sent out a request for proposals in 2013, and this model is expected to go into service sometime in 2017. Chances are it will make its debut at the inauguration of [INSERT CONTROVERSIAL NAME HERE] in about a year's time. Related Video:
