2003 Cadillac De Ville 130" Stretch 5 Door Dabryan Limousine on 2040-cars
Dallas, Texas, United States
I looked long and hard to find this Cadillac, as I wanted it for my daughter's wedding in April. I had it professionally transported from Northern California to Dallas, Texas. It is an incredibly nice custom made DaBryan Limousine. It was custom built with the rare (and expensive) power 5th side door. This door is conveniently opened by a power actuator at the driver's door, and at the rear passenger door. This limousine is loaded with Cadillac, and DaBryan options. I recently had it serviced to ensure all systems were working properly for the wedding. The transmission was rebuilt with approximately 29k on it. My mechanic (and I) believe the engine was also as it runs as new, smooth, pulls with much force, no noises or leaks. It runs cool all day long; even when it's 90+ outside! Exhaust looks to have been replaced not too long ago. Underneath looks great. All four tires were recently replaced. It has the heavy-duty limousine suspension which includes 6-lug chrome Cadillac wheels. It rides extremely well, so smooth, and quiet like riding on a cloud! I just had the power steering pump, outer tie rod ends, hub assembly/bearing, complete rack & pinion set (Limo Pack), and engine/transmission mounts replaced. Also had the oil/filter changed, and the emergency brake adjusted. Finished up by having the front-end aligned by Dallas Frame and Alignment. I installed new headlights, sidemarker, power antenna, and Custom "Cadillac" embossed floor mats.
This Cadillac has no rust, has original panels, the key-less opens doors, trunk, arms and disarms the car. Also for safety it lights up the exterior/side/interior lights at night. It has a hi-quality modern looking black vinyl roof. Car is pretty-much blacked out, and get compliments all the time. The glass is excellent, including the windshield (was replaced), has professionally applied limo-tint. The leather is soft, subtle, and in great condition, as is 100% of carpeting. The front wheel drive allows for extra room on floor for passenger (no drive-shaft). The traction control at a push of a button makes driving much safer. It has no odors whatsoever, clean, clean, clean, just a very nice limousine! It comes with a clear CarFax. It looks to have been stored inside out away from bad weather. Most obviously well cared for, and it shows! Inspection is welcomed, and encouraged. This Cadillac Limousine has been thoroughly enjoyed by me, and my family! It is ready to go anywhere, to be enjoyed by you and others, or put it to work for financial rewards. Great start-up limousine! We not only used it for the wedding, but also for special occasions such as dinners out, going to the movies, taking nephews (and friends) to school, or just for a drive. We have just had a blast with it! One of the best investments of my life, the fun stories will last us a lifetime! Time for someone else to make memories! Good luck ... ps I was getting 10-12 mpg Buyer is responsible for transport, shipping. I will be happy to assist in loading. Sold as is where-is. |

Cadillac XTS to become Opel flagship sedan?
Tue, 24 Jul 2012According to Auto-News.de, Opel is considering using Cadillac's all-new big sedan, the XTS, as the base for its new flagship car, which would likely carry the name Omega.
WorldCarFans.com speculates that Opel could use GM's 3.6-liter direct-injection V6 that generates 304 horsepower or, possibly, a 2.8-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine that creates 321 horsepower to power the vehicle. The European automaker could even use a 195-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine in this application - fine, since many of Europe's largest sedans are powered by smaller, more efficient engines.
Regardless of power, the Omega could arrive at dealerships by the end of 2013.
Looking back on our favorite cars of Mad Men
Tue, Apr 7 2015The second half of the seventh and final season of Mad Men debuted this week, set to cap a run of public and critical acclaim. A decade's worth of interesting cars also made for good television, if you were paying attention. Vehicles didn't often steal the spotlight from Don, Betty, Roger, Joan and the gang, but they added meaningfully to the tone and beauty of the series. We sorted through the wheeled extras from Mad Men's archives, and choose some of our favorites to highlight. The list consists of cars that had at least a small impact on the plot of an episode, though certainly there are worthy gems hiding in just about every street and driving scene. Check out our subjective top five, and then let us know which of the Mad Men cars would be on your list. 1962 Cadillac Coupe DeVille – Season 2 Don Draper's Cadillac Coupe DeVille, all 500 feet of it, shows up in a few seasons of the show, but it's the first appearance that sets the tone. A Cadillac salesman, cut from the same cloth as Draper, asks what Don drives right now. "A Dodge," Don admits. "Those are wonderful if you want to get somewhere," allows the salesman, "this is for when you've already arrived." For a man on the move up corporate and social ladders that's a powerful message, and a pitch-perfect car. 1961 Lincoln Continental – Season 3 The most stylish Lincoln Continental ever is perfect set dressing for the mod show, of course. Though it's interesting that the car isn't cast as dapper Draper's ride, but rather his father-in-law's. Grandpa Gene does what all great grandfathers are bound to: lets his granddaughter Sally drive the big Lincoln while he works the pedals. Generational bond secured, in fine fashion. When you go back through the first three seasons of the show, you'll notice that Continentals show up more than once, too. There's nothing quite like them to evoke the best of the early '60s. 1963 John Deere 110 – Season 3 The only non-standard passenger vehicle on the list, no self-respecting gearhead/Mad Men fan should quibble with the inclusion of the John Deere 110 riding mower. For starters, the Deere is lovely to look at; a miniature version of the American Heartland icon in its green and yellow duds. The 110 appears as if milled from a solid block of steel, just the opposite of today's sleek, plasticky lawn minders (we're scouring Craigslist for one to bring home). The John Deere also has dear ramifications to the plot, too.
Cadillac shows dealers convertible rendering
Tue, 28 Oct 2014Cadillac is getting serious about revitalizing and expanding its lineup, and to that end, a new report claims that brand boss Johan de Nysschen has been showing plans for several new models to the marque's dealer body - among them, a new convertible.
The droptop which Cadillac reportedly showed its dealers in sketch form, would be based on the same platform as the ATS and CTS, those it's unclear to which (if either) of those model lines the new convertible would be added, or whether the design features a canvas or folding hardtop roof. One way or another, it would be the first time Cadillac would offer a convertible since the Corvette-based XLR roadster was discontinued more than five years ago.
Quoting an unnamed brand spokesperson, Cadillac would "like to introduce an open car to the portfolio at some point," however, "it's not likely to be one of the near-term portfolio additions."
