2001 Cadillac Sedan Deville-sharp-nice-clean-beautiful Luxury on 2040-cars
Union, West Virginia, United States
3 DAY AUCTION ONLY!!!!!! Up for bids is a very clean 2001 Cadillac Deville. This car is very clean inside and out. The engine runs great with no problems. The only problem with this car is once in awhile after the car sits overnight it wants to take off in a higher gear, not sure why and it only does it once in awhile and once that first time is over its fine the rest of the day until it sits again overnight. It doesnt do it every morning just on occasions. On the mornings it does it all you have to do is let off the accelerator and when you press on the gas the second time its fine. This is something simple and it doesnt get any worse as I drive it daily. I would drive it anywhere without worry. Also the mileage showing will be a little higher as I do drive it daily. The reason for selling it is ive located a newer one and want to sell this one first. Remember guys thats the only problem with this car and its nothing major. The engine runs great with NO head gasket problems like some of them do. The temperature goes up about half way and stays there, No overheating and NO water lose. The body on this car is nice with only a small defect on the rear bumper cover where something bumped it, theres a picture of it. Also the grille has a small area where the chrome is peeling a little, nothing major but want to be honest about it all so theres no questions when you pick it up. There is a picture of that also. The paint is nice and shiny, it really is a beautiful car all around. The wheels are original and the tires are Firestones with about 3/4 tread left, very nice. The interior is gray leather and in amazingly nice condition with no tears, holes or stains. The car is loaded with all options a base Cadillac comes with and they all work as they should. Heat works and AC cools great. Cruise, tilt, windows, locks etc. all are in working order. Power seats work fine also. You will be amazed with the condition of this car inside and out. Thats about it guys, but if you have questions please let me know and I will get back to you ASAP. This is a beautiful Cadillac that I would drive anywhere without worry. If you need it transported to you I may be able to help with that also. The NADA retail book value on this car is $4500 so my buy it now is more than fair. If you think it isnt, make an offer. I want to sell this car guys but I dont have to. Checkout my feedback guys as its now over 600 and all good!!!! You dont get great feedback like that if you lie and cheat people, I tell it like it is. Rest assure your dealing with an honest ebayer. If you have less than 10 positive feedback you must contact me before bidding or I will cancel your bid. Also, the car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime. Thanks for looking and dont miss out on this nice clean Cadillac. REMEMBER THIS IS A 3 DAY AUCTION ONLY!!!! The car comes with a clean and clear WV title ready to go

Brock Lesnar does M. Bison impression on Cadillac CTS
Fri, Jul 10 2015There's no doubt that a huge amount of physicality is required to survive night after night in the ring as a professional wrestler. Conversely, the storylines that tie all the action together are as staged as any soap opera. However, there's nothing fake about watching two axes being embedded in a Cadillac CTS by WWE wrestler Brock Lesnar. Lesnar's prodigious brawn was really putting this luxury sedan out of its misery, though. With matte black stripes on the hood, fake fender vents, camouflage along the side, and a decal proclaiming "Redneck" on the windshield, this particular Cadillac was far from the standard of the world. In favor of the CTS' build quality, Lesnar's hatchets didn't immediately do quite as much damage as you might expect, and he had to take several swings to achieve the destruction here. If you think that destroying a sedan one piece at a time sounds like something from a video game, you aren't alone. Someone else noticed a definite similarity to the bonus round from Street Fighter 2 where you get points for beating up a car at the dockside until it falls apart. Appropriate sound effects were even added, but having Lesnar throw a few pixelated fireballs would have been a nice inclusion, too. For the significantly longer, original version, check out the one embedded below. After Lesnar crushes the CTS, the actual wrestling does eventually ensue. The Caddy even briefly acts as a prop for some of the action.
Cadillac won't replace XTS after 2019
Mon, Apr 6 2015Cadillac wouldn't be Cadillac without a large sedan, but the definition of just which model fits that bill changed last week. Before the New York Auto Show, that role fell to the XTS. After the New York Auto Show, though, the focus shifted to the CT6. So what's to become of the XTS now that the CT6 has emerged? According to the latest intel, it'll live out the rest of its lifecycle until around 2019, but then drive off to its own funeral like so many limousines and hearses that were built off its platform. This was learned based on comments made by Cadillac chief Johan de Nysschen at the closed-door unveiling of the CT6 in Manhattan: "Ultimately, a car like XTS when it reaches the end of its lifecycle, will not be replaced." That'll be bad news for the livery business that – in the post-Town Car era – has come to rely on the XTS as the basis for its stretch jobs. "We will not have a car that will lend itself to these kind of modifications and we will probably withdraw from those markets," de Nysschen told GM Inside News. That's not all the new Cadillac boss had to say, though: he also indicated that the replacements for the ATS and CTS will be positioned differently from the current models: "As we move into the future refining our sedan portfolio, there will be no direct successor to the CTS. There will be no direct successor to the ATS. There is no point to renaming those cars because in the future those cars will disappear." Based on Johan's comments and those we've heard until now, we'd expect the replacement for the ATS to move down a size to take on the likes of the Audi A3 and Mercedes CLA, and the CTS' successor to move down half a size class as well to give the new CT6 a bit more breathing room, and possibly an even larger flagship sedan to be positioned above them all. Weekly Recap: Ford GT inspires guitar, foosball table, sailboat
Sat, Apr 18 2015Ford design vice president Moray Callum had just wrapped up a briefing on the interior of the Ford GT last month, but something seemed out of place. He grinned and pointed behind him, "You might be wondering why I have a boat behind me," he said mischievously. It was there because Ford set its designers on a mission to stretch and showcase their talents: design non-automotive objects inspired by the interior of the GT supercar. Callum received quite a response, too. His team produced a guitar, a foosball table (yeah bro!), a racing sailboat, a Wi-Fi speaker and some furniture. As the veteran design chief explained, "It's a really great exercise both to highlight our designers' talents, but also to really see how our design philosophy can work and how you can use it and get a common response back from a worldwide design team." Guitar View 25 Photos The objects have been on display this week at the Salone del Mobile furniture and fashion design fair in Milan, Italy, where Ford has had a presence for three years. There's also a light exhibition that apparently was inspired by the GT, as well. While this might seem a little far-fetched for the automaker, Ford said exhibitions like the Salone del Mobile give its designers another way to be creative and ultimately produce striking interior style. Ford wants this to be a differentiator, as research shows consumers are placing emphasis on the layout and features inside when they're making a decision about buying a new car. It's a little light hearted – but it's also potentially big business. Other News & Notes Cadillac CT6 platform could be used for Buick General Motors product chief Mark Reuss said the Cadillac CT6 platform could be used for a large Buick, though "not yet," Automotive News reported. The underpinnings can accommodate rear-wheel or all-wheel drive and would give Buick the large flagship it lacks. The report jibes with comments Reuss made at a roundtable with Autoblog and other reporters at the New York Auto Show. When asked if Buick had space for a large car on the CT6 chassis, he replied, "Yeah, I think it does. Yeah, I think we do." Buick has revamped its lineup in recent years with attractive crossovers and small and midsize sedans, but hasn't added the proverbial flagship that's yearned for by enthusiasts. Buick surprised industry observers with the stylish Avenir concept at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year that raised the possibility of a halo sedan.
