This was my dads pride and joy special ordered brand new from Bayview Cadillac in 1997. It has the rare Vintage Edition Package #62 which was an $11000 option, the car listed for $41000 and another $11000 for the package. Sadly my dad passed some years ago then my uncle drove it for mabey 2 years then It was given to me, I had this car garaged for 3 years driving it mabey 1000 miles a year.
This Caddy is White with Black Leather and has super low miles 66875 to be exact and needless to say it's a real looker, if you dont want to be noticed, this is not the car for you. The Vintage Edition package that my dad ordered was the full out one which included The Vogue Wheels and Tire Package, Full Landau Roof, Rolls Royce Gold Plated Front Grill, Roll Royce Spair Tire trunk mount, Full chrome body side panels along the side body of car, Rear Side Skirts, Vintage Edition Markings embroidered on side of roof(fading abit) Fill Split Bench with shifter on colum which was very hard to find as my dad wanted that living room type feeling, no floor mounted shifter.. oh no no no. Definate S Florida Car Jackie Gleason :)
What I did : When I started driving this car I noticing little things,it was running hot and started to overheat, did some research and found out that Northstar motors from Mid 90's to about 2001 had a flaw, the studs that held the head to the block would strip and loose the seal, studs were too soft so the heads became loose, thousands of Caddys would suffered this fate, blown head gaskets and it was a very expensive repair, Dealer wanted almost $5000. I found a place in South Jersey caller Top Line who does nothing but Caddy repair and specializes in this exact problem, He picked up the car and did the whole thing, all the bells and whistles as he went through the whole car, replacing the radiator, brake lines, front brake pads, all belts, Gears, pullys, Tensioners ect, all detailed on reciept I have the reciept with a warranty, Repair was $ 3465.11 and he told me that this motor when repaired properly will run forever. It runs amazing now. I also recently replaced the Starter,Battery(Duralast),Alternator, Brand New Windshield, had a few little rock dings, Serviced the A/C as it was not super cold. 4 wheel alignment done a few weeks ago and tires are a year old, Cooper touring C4S in Front and Goodyear Assurance Comfortred in rear, car came with Vogue tires but when I could not afford the $1200 for all 4 Vogues installed. Car also has the Air Ride Suspension, feels awesome, amazing cruzing car. I also installed Silverstar headiights, and AirAid lifetime better flowing air filter.
My friend who looked at it said I needed front Rotors as I felt alittle pulse in the brake pedal so I just bought them and I figured I would just get the rear ones as well and rear pads too, that will be included with purchase. I also purchased the Antenna mast as the orig had broken off a few years ago..Included with purchase, I would have it done but the car is off the road now.
The car is super nice but remember this is a 16 year old car, no accidents, no paint work but there are a few marks, some scratchs on the hood and truck when my a 2 branchs fell off a tree, no major damage but there are some marks from the incident,Touchup paint would help. When u look at the car from a few ft away it looks amazing. Next thing.. The wheels have some corrosion especially the back, shown in pics.. I got an estimate of about $120 a wheel to rechrome if u want to have a perfect car, happened from the years of dad living near the beach in S Fla but no rust on car or underneath, There is another few bits of serface rust on the chrome spair tire, i will show in pics, it is only on serfice and another easy fix. Pics shown car on lift having alignment done. Every once in a while when starting car the check airbag light comes on but had it checked and it is a wire under the seat, has no effect on anything but want to be as upfront as possible. I was on the Caddy forums and was told this is a common thing with these Devilles, Someone suggested to use contact spray on the wires under the seat. I will try to do it before selling. Next,The gas gauge goes wacky when it goes below about 6-7 gallons, what I do is use the gallons used display in the information center so I can see how much gas i used but when it goes below 3 gallons the low fuel warning does work, the float in inside the gas tank is not working 100%. Interior is just mint, still smells like leather, no cuts rips or tears and talk about room... U could sleep in the back,I use to tell my day "it is like a living room on wheels"
I want to note I did not armorall up the whole car just to make it look wet for pictures, even the motor is just how it looks everyday but if I did spray it up it would sparkle but I really want you too see the car just as it is.. I washed it, vaccumed, cleaned windows and there ya have it.. Car is not perfect but really really nice and for very little effort you have have the wheels done, paint touched up and you are looking Maaaaarvelous..
This is truly the last year of these huge caddys and this one is just one of a kind, I kept it and put in cash cause it was my dads and he just loved it but I'm not a Caddy kinda guys so someone should really love this car and enjoy the ride, feel and look. The car never stops people in there tracks, lots of stares and very cool comments so please enjoy and any questions PLEASE ASK...
I am opening this auction for $4500 so if you grap it at that price wow...It is a great driving one of a kind Deville with real 66750 miles with no body or paint work... I just saw the auto check, there were never 4 owners, My dad, then my uncle drove it abit then he gave it to me..That is it!
Legal: Please note car is being sold as is so any questions or concerns you have please do ask before bidding or feel free to come check it out in person..Buyer is 100% responsible for shipping the car but I will work with your shipper

This 1969 Ford F-100 has a Cadillac CTS-V engine lurking underhood
Fri, Jan 30 2015Something always feels just a little taboo when someone builds a custom and then slots in a powertrain from a rival automaker. That's exactly the case with this modded 1969 Ford F-100 boasting a highly tuned LSA supercharged V8 like from the second-gen Cadillac CTS-V. However, with a claimed 800 horsepower on tap thanks in part to running an estimated 20 pounds of boost, it's easy to get over any bad feelings. Built by Tommy Pike Customs in South Carolina, the truck tries to keep the exterior looking somewhat stock. Although, the jade green and satin gold paint, Quaker State logo, lowered suspension and black wheels immediately suggest something is up. Once the F-100 starts up with its menacing growl, absolutely any doubts of this beast being unaltered are immediately gone. Not so obvious are some tweaks to actually help put all that power down, including disc brakes and independent suspension setups at the front and rear. The video gives some glimpses at a few of Pike's other creations, but the real star here is definitely his mean, green Ford.
Drive like a prince: Join us for a walk through Monaco's car collection
Fri, Dec 29 2023Small, crowded, and a royal pain in the trunk lid to drive into during rush hour, Monaco sounds like an improbable location for a huge car museum. And yet, this tiny city-state has been closely linked to car culture for over a century. It hosts two major racing events every year, many of its residents would qualify for a frequent shopper card if Rolls-Royce issued one, and Prince Rainier III began assembling a collection of cars in the late 1950s. He opened his collection to the public in 1993 and the museum quickly turned into a popular tourist attraction. The collection continued to grow after his death in April 2005; it moved to a new facility located right on Hercules Port in July 2022. Monaco being Monaco, you'd expect to walk into a room full of the latest, shiniest, and most powerful supercars ever to shred a tire. That's not the case: while there is no shortage of high-horsepower machines, the first cars you see after paying ˆ10 (approximately $11) to get in are pre-war models. In that era, the template for the car as we know it in 2023 hadn't been created, so an eclectic assortment of expensive and dauntingly experimental machines roamed whatever roads were available to them. One is the Leyat Helica, which was built in France in 1921 with a 1.2-liter air-cooled flat-twin sourced from the world of aviation. Fittingly, the two-cylinder spun a massive, plane-like propeller. Government vehicles get a special spot in the museum. They range from a Cadillac Series 6700 with an amusing blend of period-correct French-market yellow headlights and massive fins to a 2011 Lexus LS 600h with a custom-made transparent roof panel that was built by Belgian coachbuilder Carat Duchatelet for Prince Albert II's wedding. Here's where it all gets a little weird: you've got a 1952 Austin FX3, a Ghia-bodied 1959 Fiat 500 Jolly, a 1960 BMW Isetta, and a 1971 Lotus Seven. That has to be someone's idea of a perfect four-car garage. One of the most significant cars in the collection lurks in the far corner of the main hall, which is located a level below the entrance. At first glance, it's a kitted-out Renault 4CV with auxiliary lights, a racing number on the front end, and a period-correct registration number issued in the Bouches-du-Rhone department of France. It doesn't look all that different than the later, unmodified 4CV parked right next to it. Here's what's special about it: this is one of the small handful of Type 1063 models built by Renault for competition.
Ford C-Max spot aimed squarely at Cadillac ELR 'Poolside' hubris [UPDATE]
Thu, Mar 27 2014If we had tried to predict the first video response to the controversial Poolside video for the Cadillac ELR, we would not have thought it would center on compost. But, hey, it's always nice to be reminded that the real world is sometimes better than fiction. Instead of the chic swagger of 'Poolside,' 'Anything Is Possible' is all about getting dirty. The new short in question is called Upside: Anything Is Possible and it promotes two things: Detroit Dirt and the Ford C-Max Energi. As in the ELR ad, Ford's plug-in C-Max only makes an appearance at the tail end of the spot, but instead of the chic swagger of Poolside, Anything Is Possible is all about getting dirty. The ad stars Pashon Murray, co-founder of Detroit Dirt, which takes natural waste from around Detroit, composts it into soil and then spreads that around "forgotten parcels" of Detroit to create urban farms. Detroit Dirt gets its bio-waste from a lot of sources, including the Detroit Zoological Society (all that herbivore manure has to go somewhere), Ford and General Motors, but this particular ad was the idea of Ford's PR agency, Team Detroit. It was a frenetic shoot, filmed with an LA-based director right after a big winter storm blew through Detroit, and Murray couldn't be happier with the result. "This was Ford Motor Company pushing my story, letting me tell the story that I believe in," Murray tells AutoblogGreen. "I get to help push this car and I get to tell my story." She says that the Team Detroit and Ford had to agree on the message, "from my understanding, [YouTube] is where they wanted to start, not where they wanted to finish." The ad is already getting a positive response on Twitter, so we won't be surprised if it shows up in more places soon. "It's not saying Ford is better than GM. It's telling the story of a black woman who's working hard in Detroit." As Detroit Dirt has off-screen support from both GM and Ford, it's unsurprising to hear Murray say that the video "is not a rivalry thing." She notes that the ad agency Team Detroit came to her and offered to tell the Detroit Dirt story using the framework of the GM ad. "It's a parody on this commercial, but it's not saying Ford is better than GM," she said. "It's telling the story of a black woman who's working hard in Detroit." What is that story? It's about urban farming, recovery and recycling. Murray tells us that for the last seven or eight years, she's been dedicated to sustainability.
