Beautiful original Coupe de Ville. This California car was owned by an elderly lady who loved her Cadillac. Upon her death, she willed it to her niece who used to take her for drives when she could no longer drive. I bought it from the niece. This car is only a few years away from being a low mileage classic. I replace the white landau with a blue one which really brings out the color. The original tires and wheels were replaced with wheels from a 2000 Cadillac and new Michelins. The originals go with the car. I can't find any rust anywhere as the car has always been covered and in an enclosed garage. The paint is still shinny and has very few blemished. There are a few as it is original paint. The body is straight. It has a split in the drivers armrest as they all do but I have an after market replacement. The radio does  not work but I have a working original replacement for that as well. The interior and seats  are beautiful. I don't think the back seat has ever been sat in.

This car is also advertised locally and I maintain the right to cancel this listing at any time. If you want more information call Steve at 1-604-309-3641.

Full payment must be receive before releasing the vehicle.

Cadillac could 'flourish' in Australia, says marketing chief

Thu, 13 Mar 2014

Cadillac might have its best product mix in recent history, and GM's luxury brand is looking to expand. In fact, it might even be making a trip Down Under, at least according to the company's global marketing chief.
Uwe Ellinghaus spoke with Australian site Car Advice at the Geneva Motor Show and said the brand could be quite successful there. "[The] goodwill that the Cadillac brand has is such a good starting base that once we get proper volume commitment and a dealer network behind it we can easily flourish," he said, though he warned that the plans are still in their earliest stages and years away. First, Cadillac will expand in markets with the highest possible sales, like China and Russia.
Ellinghaus said that the most likely models for Oz would be the SRX, Escalade and CTS; the latter would probably act as a replacement for the Holden Commodore. GM's Australian arm is ending local production in 2017, and there have been many rumors about what is happening to the big sedan. However, Ellinghaus admits exporting cars from the US to Australia is going to mean higher prices. In addition to the expense, Cadillac doesn't currently build any right-hand-drive models. It would likely take until the end of the decade before the Aussie models could be ready.

GM follows Ford and Honda in skipping SEMA

Fri, May 20 2022

The list of automakers skipping SEMA has become longer. First reported by Muscle Cars and Trucks, and confirmed to us by a company representative, General Motors will not have an official presence at the aftermarket show. It joins Ford and Honda in leaving the show. It will be a large hole in the show, with the GM brands typically filling a significant swath of available show space in one of the main halls. GM hasn't provided much explanation for the move, either. The GM representative provided Autoblog with the same statement that Muscle Cars and Trucks got: "GM has made the decision not to participate in the 2022 SEMA Show. The SEMA show has always inspired us, and accessories and performance parts remain an important part of our business." We also asked if we would see any sort of announcements around the time of the show — Ford said it has plans to share some things around that time — however, the GM representative said that the company has no immediate plans for announcements. Certainly things could change between now and the November show, though. SEMA had previously noted that other exhibitors would help fill in some of the space vacated by these major OEMs. Another OEM, Volkswagen, is returning to the show after an absence, which will also help with the display deficit.
