Peggy said its time to get rid of so this is a .99 auction with no reserve
This is a good looking and well cared for 1980 Cadillac Sedan Deville with only 51,587 original miles. The car runs and drives great having no known mechanical issues. The interior is a beautifully preserved original.. Over the years the car was subjected to a few scrapes and ware as with any unrestored car. There is a very small dent on the passenger side rear fender and a small dent about size of say hail damage. The front fillers were replaced and the car looks very presentable but not perfect. The a/c is blowing cold currently. The original sticker from when bought new is included. This car was owned by a 89 yr old man that passed away I was told it was never driven in winter and have looked it over for hidden rust and have found none it is a very nice unrestored car.
Since I bought and it was driven very little in last 10 years I changed all the fluids and the battery. The few things I have found wrong are power antenna does not work, small cracks in dash on driver side on inside where door shuts against it, head liner will need to be re glued in few years not bad but starting at front above visers and missing a piece of chrome around drivers tail light. arm rest driver and passenger side arm rest have ware and one small crack in vinyl about 2 inches. Saying all that this car is a dream it rides and drives very well.
Has about 75% or better tread.
I have decided to sell this car since I need the space. Email me to answer any questions you may have and leave your phone number if you want me to call you regarding the car. I would rather be up front and speak to any serious buyers before bidding
The car is sold “as is” and has no warranty. Seller reserves the right to end auction early. Payment needs to be made by bank wire transfer, cashiers check or cash in person. Winning bidder needs to contact me within 24 hours of the end of auction or the car will be sold on a first come first serve basis to other potential buyers. Within 48 hours a 25% deposit will be sent by purchaser and the balance is due seven business days after the end of the auction. The sale will be cancelled if payment conditions are not met. No escrow accounts will be accepted and all funds must clear my bank before the car will be released.
If you are looking for this car this is the one its just great and you would have a hard time finding one better
Shipping I can help arrange and if payed for I will hold the car so you can pick up. Shipping on a car is not as bad as you would think I had my X5 shipped from Texas to Minn. for 630.00
Thanks Troy and Peggy

Genesis cars win accolades, offer value — so why are sales so bad?
Tue, Jul 31 2018My high-school buddy Brent Cormier was so smitten with the Genesis G80 when he saw it at an event I hosted at SXSW in 2016 he bought a used 2013 Hyundai Genesis a short time later and fell in love with the car. "It surpasses my every expectation," said Cormier, a self-described "renaissance man" who owns and runs a real estate agency with his wife Laura, is a food service executive chef and part owner of Austin-based Thin the Herd Guitars. "I was locked into Mercedes and Audi for 10 years," he added. "And felt trapped in an endless pit of maintenance costs." After owning the Genesis over the past two years — including using it as an Uber and Lyft driver to earn extra cash — Cormier learned what some frugal luxury sedan buyers and a handful of car reviewers have discovered: Genesis offers great bang for the buck compared to other premium brands and can compete with the best in terms of performance, features and comfort. Hyundai's luxury brand also earned a prominent third-party endorsement last week when for the first time Genesis topped J.D. Power's 2018 APEAL study, surpassing German luxury-performance icon Porsche. The APEAL study (which stands for Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout) "measures owners' emotional attachment and level of excitement across 77 attributes," ranging from performance to comfort, and asks nearly 68,000 owners of new 2018 models to score vehicles on a 1,000-point scale. In its second year ranked as a stand-alone brand, Genesis earned an APEAL score that bumped it up 15 points to 884 and helped push it past Porsche — and past BMW, Lincoln, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volvo, Cadillac, Land Rover and Lexus, in order of ranking. Last month, Genesis also topped J.D. Power's Initial Quality Survey (IQS) for the first time this year. And both its models were awarded Top Safety Pick Plus ratings by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, among 11 Plus ratings in all for Korean vehicles. Despite high J.D. Power rankings and great reviews, Genesis U.S. sales were off 50 percent for the first six months of 2018 compared to 2017, and in June Genesis sold only 796 vehicles — the first time U.S. numbers dropped below 1,000 in a month. Part of Genesis's APEAL and IQS success can be attributed to its small product lineup: just two models, the G80 and G90 sedans, with a third, the 2019 G70, launching later this year. And while those numbers may help in J.D.
Cadillac CT6 to be lighter than CTS, get PHEV model
Mon, 06 Oct 2014Cadillac is suddenly one of the most talked about automakers in the US with Johan de Nysschen taking control. The brand claims that it eventually wants to become, once again, the standard of the world. One of the first vehicles to actually prove whether that's possible is its upcoming CT6 flagship sedan. We still don't know what the production version looks like undisguised, but other important details are falling into place. The latest big news sheds some light on the Caddy's powertrain and some estimates of its weight and size.
General Motors product chief Mark Reuss dropped the details at the automaker's Global Business Conference. According to The Detroit News, he revealed that the CT6 would use a twin-turbocharged, 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and a plug-in hybrid would be an additional option. He reportedly claimed it would be the most "powerful six-cylinder gas engine in the segment" and said the hybrid could get around 70 miles per gallon.
Reuss also revealed that the CT6 would be about 53 pounds lighter than the current CTS, despite being about 8 inches longer, according to The Detroit News. If that's the case, the new flagship is about 203.5-inches long, which is 1.5-inches more than the XTS.
Cadillac expects major growth in China
Thu, 25 Sep 2014The US sales issues facing Cadillac are not being paralleled in the People's Republic of China, as a new report from Automotive News indicates the US luxury maker should see its sales increase by as much as 40 percent.
The report cites Cadillac's own forecasts, which put its 2014 sales in the PRC at 70,000 units after cresting 45,000 vehicles at the end of August. Provided the sales pace holds true through 2015, the brand would hit its new 100,000-unit sales goal, AN reports.
"We're very optimistic about the luxury market, we believe that the luxury market by 2016 here will become the largest luxury market in the world, surpassing even the size of luxury in Europe," GM China President Matthew Tsien told AN. "With [Cadillac president] Johan [de Nysschen], we have somebody that really is an executive that understands luxury, but he also is very, very keen on understanding what do we need here in China for Cadillac to be successful."
