You are bidding on an excellent original 1977 Cadillac Coupe Deville. This car is in unbelievably original condition. I purchased it from the original owners estate sale. The car was originally titled to him 5/24/1977 in Pennsylvania. The car has obviously been garaged since new. There are no scratches to the exterior and as far as I can tell, the paint is all original with the exception of the right front fender. If you look closely, there is evidence that it has been touched up at some point. The white half vinyl top has a small blemish which is noted in the pictures. The chrome is in mint condition. The interior is also near perfect. The only issue I see is a small crack on the woodgrain horn bezel which is also noted in the pictures. There are no cracks to the dash or door panels which is common to these vehicles. There are no tears or wear to the seats or carpets. The trunk area is dry and original with the original spare and trunk mat. The undercarriage is rust free and clean as well. This Cadillac is light blue in color with a white half vinyl top and a blue cloth interior. The standard features include: automatic climate control, soft ray glass, power door locks, 6 way power driver seat, high energy ignition, digital clock, lamp monitors, cornering lights, automatic transmission, power steering, power windows, power brakes (front disc). Options include: Deville cabriolet roof, dual comfort front seats 50/50 split, 6 way power passenger seat, door edge guards, tilt and telescoping wheel, trunk release with power pull-down, carpeted floor mats, trunk mat, rear defogger, cruise control, "guidematic" headlamp control, right remote control mirror, wire wheel covers and AM/FM/CB radio. The original owners kit, CB radio booklet and window sticker are included with the car. All options are in working order with the exception of the CB radio. The power antenna has been replaced and the current antenna does not have CB capability. The original antenna is included with the car, however. Please don't ask if the car will make it home to your destination. I have put several hundred miles on the car since I bought it and it runs and drives as well as it looks. I dont know of any existing issues with this car but it is 36 years old and obviously anything can fail at any time. Bid to own because the reserve on this Cadillac is set at a very realistic number and is seriously for sale! Feel free to call and make arrangements to see this Cadillac. It is located at Fishel Automotive. 2980 Cape Horn Rd Red Lion,Pa 17356. Serious inquiries are welcome to call 717-814-2610 with additional questions. This car is being sold as-is with no warranty expressed or implied. Buyer must make arrangements to pick the car up or make shipping arrangements. I am located approximately one hour from either BWI airport or Harrisburg International airport.

De Nysschen says Cadillac will be ready for a $250,000 model in 15 years
Fri, Nov 21 2014Cadillac president Johan de Nysschen has some very, very lofty goals for the American luxury car manufacturer. That's according to a new report from Reuters, where the former Audi and Infiniti exec says that Cadillac is only 15 years away from selling a $250,000 car. "It is too early today for a $250,000 Cadillac," de Nysschen told Reuters at the LA Auto Show. "Fifteen years from now, it won't be." Now, provided de Nysschen doesn't envision a future of hyper-inflation, where an ATS rings up at $200K and a CTS at $225,000, the idea that Cadillac could sell a car worth a quarter-of-a-million dollars in just 15 short years is the very definition of ambitious. That's doubly true when you realize that, at present, Cadillac's most expensive vehicle is the Escalade ESV Platinum, which costs no more than $97,940, while de Nysschen said the upcoming CT6 sedan will be priced "in the 70s." What do you think? Could a Cadillac that costs well over twice as much as the brand's most expensive current vehicle be a reality in the distant future? Or is de Nysschen aiming too high too soon? Let us know what you think in Comments. News Source: ReutersImage Credit: Jae C. Hong / AP Cadillac Luxury cadillac ct6

Weekly Recap: 2016 CTS-V gives Cadillac new momentum for the new year
Sat, Dec 27 2014It's been a rough year for Cadillac. The historic luxury carmaker been in the news for all of the wrong reasons: Declining sales, ditching its advertising agency and the relocation of its headquarters from Detroit to New York. But in late December, Cadillac reminded everyone what it does best: Build some of the rawest and most compelling luxury sedans in the world, as evidenced by the 2016 CTS-V. This monster churns out 640 horsepower from a supercharged 6.2-liter V8. Sound familiar? That's the Corvette Z06 engine, and it makes this CTS the most powerful production Cadillac ever. It also puts the sporting divisions of the Germans on notice. The new CTS-V easily overpowers the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG S 4Matic and its 5.5-liter biturbo V8 rated at 577 hp, and the BMW M5 (with the competition pack) and its 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 that pushes out 575 hp. The rear-wheel drive Cadillac can sprint to 60 miles per hour in 3.7 seconds, which is close to the 3.5-second time turned in by the 4Matic-driven E63 S, and a bit quicker than the 4.1 seconds posted by the M5. With Magnetic Ride Control, General Motors' stout eight-speed automatic transmission (also used in the Corvette), Brembo brakes and a carbon-fiber option package that pretty much builds your car out of carbon fiber – it's clear this Cadillac means business. Truth be told, we expected this CTS-V to deliver. It's been a serious sports sedan for a decade, and the recent generation and its 556-hp arrogance have been particularly memorable. But notice what we're doing here? We're talking about product. Not who makes Cadillac's ads, or if the brand's headquarters has a mailing address in NYC. Like the 2016 ATS-V that's due in the spring, the debut of the 2016 CTS-V (on sale in late summer) is a shot in the arm for Cadillac, and its arrival comes during time of transition. The brand is trying to reinvent itself as a modern luxury maker. It wants new customers, a different image and obviously more sales. Those things are going to take time, but with a 640-hp sledgehammer of a sports sedan on tap for next year, Cadillac can still maintain some of its swagger through all of the change.
