We are re-listing this Sedan DeVille because a fraudulent Ebay buyer never paid for the car or responded to emails. We are more than happy to accomodate the needs of buyers. But this is not a game. If you dont have the ability to buy the car, or have your finances inline, don't bid on it. We strive to provide the finest Cadillac's on the market and excellent service, but we are not hear to entertain time vampires who dont have the ability to buy one of our cars. Now about this outstanding Cadillac......

Sometime's you come across something that is too good to let go. On a recent buying trip, we stumbled upon something that really struck us. Something that the closer we looked, the better it looked to us. This car is that something that is too good to let go. At Pedigree, we generally look for Fleetwood's when buying a 4 door Cadillac. While we don't seek out other models, this Sedan De Ville is so good; we had to give it a second look.

This has got to be one of the finest, if not the finest 1970 Sedan De Ville there is. A one owner car, this example has only 37,000 miles on it. Now, while many low miles cars sound good on paper, but in reality they are neglected. This one is as good as it sounds. A truly magnificent example of the most popular Cadillac model. This car has been perfectly preserved. A completely unrestored original that looks close to new. Everything about this car is impressive. From the beautiful black paint, to the completely straight body panels, to the original wheel covers; this car is one of a kind. Even the chrome is perfect with no pitting or fading.

Inside it’s like going back in time. It can go to an Cadillac Concours and win. It can win based on condition, originality, and preservation. There really is none like this. Literally it’s as close to perfect as we have ever seen.

Upon twisting the key, there is a faint sound if the 472 V8 coming to life. After a brief warm up, the idle settles down to a near silence and no vibration. The air conditioning blows cold and hard. It has the original dual trumpet horn that sounds as good today as it did in 1970. Every switch, function, and light operate correctly as they should. Nothing needs to be done to drive and enjoy this beautiful Cadillac. So much of this car looks like it has never been used. Even the trunk looks brand new. We believe it has its original spare tire and has never been used. Included are all of the original books including the owner’s manual and warranty book. It even has the Cadillac demo 8-track tape that came with it.

Extremely well equipped, the factory options on this Sedan De Ville are:
Front and Rear Floor Mats
Trunk Mat
Twilight Sentinel
Automatic Climate Control
Power Door Locks
Window Locks
White Sidewall Tires
Power Seat, Six-Way
Stereo Tape Player
Vinyl Roof

2021 Cadillac Escalade vs. 2020 Lincoln Navigator | How they compare on paper

Wed, Feb 5 2020

The 2021 Cadillac Escalade arrived late last night, and we all know what that means: It’s comparison time. Specifically, weÂ’re pitting the new Escalade versus the 2020 Lincoln Navigator. The sales gap between the long-time competitors has grown dangerously close for Cadillac ever since the revolutionary new Navigator came out for the 2018 model year. In 2019, the Navigator was only about 4,000 units down from the Escalade. Cadillac intends to widen that gap back up with a new truck, and now itÂ’s time to see if itÂ’s brought the right goods to the party. With the redesigned model that now features an independent rear suspension, these two are more alike than theyÂ’ve been in a long time. The Escalade was stuck with the less space-efficient solid rear end up until now, as GM hadnÂ’t yet made the switch to IRS that Ford long-ago did. Now that it has, these two are super similar from a dimensions perspective. Cadillac was playing catch-up in this fight, so it knew exactly where it needed to aim to come out victorious in a specs battle such as this one. A quick note on the chart below. Both of these models have a “regular” and “long” version. The EscaladeÂ’s long variant is still named ESV, and the NavigatorÂ’s long version is simply named L. In the dimensions section, we distinguish between the two with a “/” — the “regular” length version is on the left, and the “long” version is on the right side of the slash. The numbers are below: Powertrain The Lincoln Navigator still reigns supreme when it comes to power, as the 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 is high on both horsepower and torque. GMÂ’s small-block V8 comes close, but ultimately falls short by 30 horsepower and 50 pound-feet of torque to the twin-turbo V6. Cadillac does have an ace up its sleeve, though. It comes in the form of the 3.0-liter turbo-diesel inline-six engine. Lincoln hasnÂ’t dropped the PowerStroke diesel into the Navigator (and we'd be shocked if it does), so Cadillac has a unique offering in this segment now. The diesel will be optional on the Escalade, but it has less horsepower and the same amount of torque as the V8. We expect the big advantage for the diesel will come in fuel economy, an area where the Silverado Duramax diesel currently outpaces the full-size truck competition. Both of these big SUVs come standard with 10-speed automatic transmissions. Intriguingly, itÂ’s the 10-speed automatic that was co-developed between Ford and GM.

Mystery Cadillac coupe concept revealed in patent drawings

Fri, Jul 6 2018

We have been reminded once again that when Cadillac designs a coupe, it's usually spectacular. The reminder comes in the form of a patent drawing filing that was previously reported on by Jalopnik. In the filing are shots of the two-door from just about every angle, and there's not a bad one in the bunch. Unfortunately, there isn't really any other information about the car in the patent, so the car remains a mystery in that regard. Still, there's a fair amount to be gleaned from the images. It certainly looks sportier than most recent Cadillac concepts. It has a fastback roof and a short deck lid. The rear bumper has a diffuser design fitted to it. The rear fenders are very wide. It has large auxiliary grilles on each side of the center one, and the way the taillights are designed seem to hint at extractor vents. The overall proportions even look a bit like those of the Camaro, but possibly a little larger. The car also looks like it's probably a concept. The side mirror stalks are far too skinny to actually be production units. The big diffuser and center exhaust, plus those rear extractor vent designs seem a little much for a production model, too. The headlights are also a little on the small side. Being a concept (probably), we're a little worried. We really want to see this thing come to market, but Cadillac has a bad track record of showing beautiful concepts that never make it to production, even when they aren't particularly over-the-top. The Elmiraj and Ciel are two that come to mind. The former was a coupe, too, and was elegant and grounded. We never got a production version of either. We did see some styling inspiration from the Elmiraj on the ATS and CTS, but they never quite captured the concept's beauty. Then again, when Cadillac has managed to bring a recent concept to production, the results haven't great. The Converj concept became the ELR, and while the styling came through fine, it was hampered by an uninspiring powertrain and an excruciating price tag. But hey, Cadillac could always prove us wrong. And we would like them to. Jeff Gordon will come out of retirement to race new Cadillac endurance racecar

Thu, Dec 1 2016

Jeff Gordon is not a man who takes well to retirement, apparently. That's not a surprise at all, given that we've been talking about his return to racing since almost the minute he retired in the first place. This year, he's taken the wheel for Dale Earnhardt, Jr., who is recovering from a concussion, several times already. So we shouldn't be too surprised to find out he's officially coming out of retirement – the twist is that it won't be in a stock car. Gordon has signed onto Wayne Taylor Racing, Motorsport.com reports, and he'll join Ricky and Jordan Taylor as well as Max Angelelli. Their ride will be the newly-revealed Cadillac DPi-V.R racer, a Dallara-chassis car powered by a 6.2-liter pushrod V8 loosely related, Cadillac claims, to the engine in the current CTS-V. You can read all about the DPi-V.R right over here. Remember, Gordon has a total of 93 NASCAR wins to his name, as well as four titles. He knows his way around Daytona pretty well, too, having won the 500 three times. He's also dabbled in endurance racing once before, in the 2007 24 Hours of Daytona with Taylor, Angelelli and Jan Magnussen in a WTR Riley-Pontiac car. They ended up on the podium, so you can say Gordon's inaugural and only outing in endurance racing so far was a success. It's been a decade, so we'll see if he's rusty, although knowing about how competitive champions are, we think he'll blow out the cobwebs and get right down to work. You can read Gordon's statement over at his personal site. Related Video:
