i have up for auction a nice 1970 cadilac coupe deville.. it has a 472 motor and turbo 400 transmission. it has been well taken care of .it will need a paint job, but it looks good just the way it is now. has chips flake u know normal wear after so many years! THE INTEREIOR IS IB EXCELLENT SHAPE FOR ITS YEAR I SMALL CRACK ON DRIVERS SIDE SEAT.,it has a dah cover to protect it from the sun.. my brother had this car and passed away and i need to sell it now..look at pictures closely and bid accordingly.the trunk needs to be painted but it has no signs of leakage. my dad left window down and rain has come in a little.. but, this is a beautiful car.. baby blue and it feels like your driving a yout!!!! tires are in fair condition, it does need a exhaust donougt. but this car runs and drives great.. its not a showroom car. but its a collectable and part of american classics... i am in knoxville, tn,. and recomment to examine this car upon bidding..it does have a clear and clean title. dont let this one slip away.... if u have any ? please email me. thanks happy bidding

GM recalls full-size truck, SUVs and vans over faulty shifter mechanism
Mon, 07 Jan 2013Twelve different General Motors vehicles from the 2013 model year, up to 54,686 units in total, are being recalled over two potential issues with their steering columns. The models in question, all full-size trucks, SUVs or vans, are the: Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade EXT, Chevrolet Avalanche, Express, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, and GMC Savana, Sierra, Yukon and Yukon XL.
The affected vehicles were built with a fractured parking lock cable or "a malformed steering column lock actuator gear in the lock module assembly." As a consequence, they could shift out of park without the brake pedal being applied or with the key removed or in the off position.
A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration indicates that the recall should begin on January 17. GM will notify owners, at which time they can take their vehicles to their dealers for repair free of charge. Have a look at the bulletin below for more information.

Case in point: the classic car dealer Frankman Motor Company that operates three locations in Sioux Falls, SD.
Unearthed by the folks at Bring a Trailer, Frankman is a treasure trove of vintage, American iron. Their collection is full of the type of vehicles your irresponsible but cool uncle would show up with when you were a kid. Even better, these cars are priced at a level a working man can afford.
If you are lusting about a cruiser then Frankman has a 1956 Cadillac Deville Hard Top Sedan (pictured right) with 82,896 miles for $12,975. It's painted a color called Cascade Grey, but looks more like a pastel purple in pictures. While it needs some repairs to the accessories, the Caddy runs and drives, which is all you really need.
