Where do I begin??? This is a nice customized tripped out '69 Cadillac DeVille. Three years ago I purchased this vehicle out of Fort Launderdale, FL. from a used car dealer that paid cash for it to a lady so she could lay down an attorney retainer for her drug dealing boyfriend that had just got busted. I bought the Caddy and got a deal and spent a year working on this Caddy to prepare it to use as a company vehicle offering VIP chauffeured transportation in Orlando. Company I own is "Dejavu Transportation" based in Orlando.
Contact me and I will give you company info/pics available online.
This DeVille has worked well as we sure get a lot of attention and car has been thoroughly restored and maintained. I would like to find a good home for this sweet Caddy and use the sale proceeds to place towards the purchase a vintage limo. I am finding the need and demand with my transportation company to use vintage vehicles capable of hauling more customers!
I have before and after photos and have a company mechanic that knows this '69 Caddy in and out and I have a complete file of receipts outlining the restoration & maintenance of this DeVille! This DeVille has a custom 'ghost flame' paint job, legal tinted windows, has all new suspension (new bushings), shocks and coil springs... all new brakes and lines, rotors and new tires. Has a Hurst shifter on an automatic 3 speed racing tranny with the original engine (beefed up and rebuilt). All new bushings for steering, new water pump, rebuilt 4 barrel carb, all new belts, new aftermarket oversize radiator. Caddy has custom interior with bucket seats in the front and a new $2 thousand dollar "Vintage Air" Air-conditioner/Heater Unit (the biggest available) (which includes all new AC components, new alternator and of course Caddy is equipped with new stereo, speakers and boom box in the trunk. Equipped with steering column RPM racing gauge and an additional engine temp gauge and fire extinguisher between the front bucket seats. There has been several thousands of dollars invested in this Cadillac to make it what it is today. My total investment to date is approximately $17K. If you want a sweet solid ride, here's your opportunity to get a bargain!

2017 Cadillac CT6 Plug-In Hybrid Drivers' Notes Review | Seamlessly green
Fri, Jan 5 2018In many ways, the Cadillac CT6 Plug-in Hybrid is the most interesting car the brand sells. Despite having a turbocharged four-cylinder hybrid powertrain, it makes the most torque of any CT6, even the twin-turbocharged V6 model. It also has a claimed electric range of 31 miles and can still manage a combined fuel economy of 26 mpg with just the gas engine. Even its origin is interesting, since its final assembly point is China. To cap things off, it's also the second most expensive CT6 in the range. To find out if the CT6 is worth that money, and has more to offer than fun facts, we spent some time behind the wheel. Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore: I achieved 34.1 miles per gallon for my roughly 14-mile roundtrip in the CT6 hybrid. This sedan is a rolling example of where luxury is heading in the near term: Existing models souped up with hybrid tech, and the green features will go along way toward keeping big sedans like this relevant. It's a smart play for Cadillac to add a product like this. Otherwise, it's a fairly standard-issue CT6, which is a solid car. The flashy head- and taillights look great. The design is angled, creased and nicely proportioned. The interior is comfortable and roomy. It's a nice car. Cadillac invested a lot in the CT6, and it shows. Rumors have long swirled that the brand will add a larger flagship, though in this climate, that's hard to envision. For now, the CT6 does the job as Cadillac's standard bearer. Associate Editor Joel Stocksdale: Of all the different CT6 variants available, the CT6 PHEV is the one I would pick for myself. Why? Because the hybrid powertrain finally delivers on the quiet, refined driving experience I want from a flagship luxury sedan. I was a bit surprised by this, too, since the gas engine under the hood is the 2.0-liter four-cylinder used elsewhere, which isn't the smoothest thing in the world. But assist from the electric motor helps keep the four-cylinder from having to wind up too much to move the big Caddy, and when the gas engine does rev hard, it's well muffled by whatever insulation is in the car. Besides aural refinement, the power delivery is oil-on-ice slick. The blending of electric and gas power is seamless. There's no waiting on the turbo to spool up, and there's no loss of power at higher rpms with the electric motor. They work in perfect harmony providing excellent low-down grunt and solid upper-end power. The transmission is super smooth, too allowing for happy wafting wherever you go.
Why Cadillac thinks it needs to succeed in Europe to sell cars elsewhere
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Ward's Auto has taken an interesting look at the renewed focus General Motors is showing towards Cadillac in Europe. Susan Docherty, president and managing director of Chevrolet and Cadillac in Europe (pictured), says in order for the luxury brand to thrive in China, it first needs to succeed in the old country. The reason? Chinese buyers look to Europe for cues as to what's deemed worthy of the term "luxury." There are hurdles to the plan, however. In addition to the fact that the EU is flooded with high-end nameplates, GM doesn't necessarily have the distribution network in place to put buyers behind the wheel.
Combine that with persistent economic woes and Cadillac's checkered past marred by a lack of diesel engine options and a bankrupt distributor, and the road ahead for the brand looks like less of an uphill climb and more like a straight-up cliff face. But Docherty is optimistic and says she has a plan for the brand. We recommend heading over to Ward's for a closer look at the full read.
Jeff Gordon will come out of retirement to race new Cadillac endurance racecar
Thu, Dec 1 2016Jeff Gordon is not a man who takes well to retirement, apparently. That's not a surprise at all, given that we've been talking about his return to racing since almost the minute he retired in the first place. This year, he's taken the wheel for Dale Earnhardt, Jr., who is recovering from a concussion, several times already. So we shouldn't be too surprised to find out he's officially coming out of retirement – the twist is that it won't be in a stock car. Gordon has signed onto Wayne Taylor Racing, Motorsport.com reports, and he'll join Ricky and Jordan Taylor as well as Max Angelelli. Their ride will be the newly-revealed Cadillac DPi-V.R racer, a Dallara-chassis car powered by a 6.2-liter pushrod V8 loosely related, Cadillac claims, to the engine in the current CTS-V. You can read all about the DPi-V.R right over here. Remember, Gordon has a total of 93 NASCAR wins to his name, as well as four titles. He knows his way around Daytona pretty well, too, having won the 500 three times. He's also dabbled in endurance racing once before, in the 2007 24 Hours of Daytona with Taylor, Angelelli and Jan Magnussen in a WTR Riley-Pontiac car. They ended up on the podium, so you can say Gordon's inaugural and only outing in endurance racing so far was a success. It's been a decade, so we'll see if he's rusty, although knowing about how competitive champions are, we think he'll blow out the cobwebs and get right down to work. You can read Gordon's statement over at his personal site. Related Video:
