Low mileage 54K! Needs restoration. Up for sale our running, driving 1968 Cadillac DeVille Convertible. Runs flawlessly even on old gas. No knocks, smoking runs smooth and quiet and has a brand new battery. Power brakes with good pedal though pulls slightly to right on heavy braking. I've had the car for 15 years and in that time only put 3k miles on it. 3rd owner. Previously was a weekend, summer car but sadly had always been kept outdoors thus the deteriorated state. All chrome needs replacement/ replating but all there. One repaint was originally a mint green with a black top. Some bondo at the bottom of the front fenders, doors and quarter panels. Rust and bubbling has returned to these areas and in addition will need rear floor pans to be patched or replaced and trunk floor has rust but may be salvageable with some Por 15 and patching. Frame and front floors are rock solid/intact. Convertible top was replaced in 2000 when it was repainted and is still in good shape requiring only stitching around the back glass window to preserve. Top goes up and down with ease. 3 of the 4 original T3 headlights. Lights, signals brakes and horn all working. Factory radio powers on but no sound. Interior leather dried and splitting but all there. Dash in good shape. Never altered or hacked. Front seat bench bottom recovered at some point prior to ownership and power seat works in all positions with some sagging on drivers side. Missing one of the wiper arms. Heater fan non functional but heat works. Power windows require some tinkering as when the pics were taken I put the driver's side window down and am unable to get back up. Car is now kept in garage until sold. Tires are old but hold air. Local buyers are encouraged to take a look. Delivery possible and will drive to you within a reasonable distance but only once payment is received in full. All others buyers we are convenient to major highways and will work with buyer's shipping but shipping cost is your responsibility. I have bought and sold several cars on Ebay with 100 percent feedback and we have several old cars but I'm no used car dealer so of course the car is as-is. Please feel free to email any questions. Clear title in hand. Thanks for stopping and good luck!

Cadillac rushing update for laggy CUE infotainment system
Tue, 05 Feb 2013BMW's innovative iDrive was introduced in 2001, and a dozen years later, automakers are still learning hard lessons about what consumers want in their infotainment systems. In response to owner feedback - and a few media drubbings - about the delayed and occasionally fickle responses of its CUE (short for Cadillac User Experience) system, Cadillac has told Wired that it's going to issue an update this year.
Coming for the XTS and ATS, the new software will mean quicker haptic feedback to driver inputs on the touchscreen and the buttons, and snappier responses on screen. Down the road, Cadillac's VP of marketing says that a different mix of screen controls and hard buttons is "something you'll be seeing in the future" - the system is presently a mix of touchscreen-based controls and capacitive-touch switchgear - there are no knobs or physical pushbuttons to speak of, and the omission of both has proven to be a divisive issue among consumers and industry pundits.
Cadillac hasn't provided a date for when the CUE update will be issued, but it has indicated that the service will be performed by dealers, not sent wirelessly.
Cadillac prepares to top its own 'Ring record with upcoming new CTS-V
Mon, 14 Jul 2014It was a big deal back in 2008 when the original Cadillac CTS-V clocked a lap time of 7:59 at the Nürburgring, making it the fastest sedan ever to lap the Nordschleife to that date. Not many four-doors have bested that time since - the list consisting pretty much only of the Porsche Panamera Turbo - but now hot hatches are lapping faster than that, so you can bet that the new one will manage an even better time.
Now we've spotted the upcoming new CTS-based performance sedan several times before undergoing testing in locations around the world, but this is the first time we've seen it at the Nürburgring, apparently using the Goodyear Dunlop test facility as its base of operations (and still wearing Michigan manufacturer plates, incidentally). Considering how well the outgoing CTS-V performed and how much further you can bet Cadillac will push the envelop this time around, a new sedan lap record is almost a certainty - and we can only hope for an all-out war between Europe's performance sedan power houses to ensue.
This dream home theater and office happens to be in a Cadillac Escalade [w/video]
Fri, Dec 19 2014Need to take a ride cross country in the lap of luxury while still getting some work done? Short of a tour bus, the Concept One Curve from Lexani Motorcars might be one of the most comfy options imaginable. Lexani is usually known for creating opulent armored vehicles, but for the Concept One Curve it focuses on converting a 2015 Cadillac Escalade into a place for work or play. The company strips out the standard passenger compartment to install a higher ceiling with LED lighting, two leather-upholstered power captain's chairs and jump seats. However, the real highlight is a 48-inch curved 4K television mounted against the driver's partition. Don't worry about missing your favorite shows because there's a TracVision Satellite, too. The driver gets a re-covered seat of their own up front. If business needs to get done, the vehicle also includes a Mac Mini computer, tables stowed in the seats and connections for video conferencing. Of course, if you're riding in something this lavish, security might be a concern too. In addition to the window shades, the Concept One Curve features cameras to know what's going on outside. A touchscreen management system lets occupants control the whole setup from the luxurious chairs. Lexani claims that if all of this somehow isn't enough for a buyer, it offers even more options to fit their needs. Scroll down to watch a video tour and read more about this rolling home theater. {C} Lexani Concept One Curve Lexani Motorcars, a boutique luxury conversion company receiving vast international praise, has produced the Concept One Curve - the world's first 2015 Escalade with a built-in 48" 4K Technology Curved Smart TV. Lexani Motorcars is constantly pushing the boundaries of possibility for luxury transportation in everyday vehicles. The Curve is a revisited version of their latest model, the Concept One, with a television upgrade and electronic rear curtains; it is unmatched in its ability to be a premier theater one minute and a five-star mobile office the next. The curved smart TV-which rests on a proprietary electronic partition-is indeed impressive, but it is just one of the numerous amenities this discreet masterpiece boasts.
