It is in excellent condition inside & out, The body is straight and rust-free, the paint is in great condition with only a few small chips. The interior is just beautiful with the white leather and the black inserts & stitching and is very clean. The car has a NEW black top with a NEW white boot which makes it look that much better, along with Cadillac's 54-spoke wheels that are in excellent condition and new Coker White-Wall tires that gives it extreme class. The car has power windows/locks/seats and power top that all work good, and the Original Wonderbar Radio. This car is COMPLETELY GORGEOUS INSIDE & OUT, and will turn heads no matter where you go. Reuss says GM diesel plans are still on pace
Fri, Oct 16 2015General Motors is not going to let Volkswagen's diesel emissions scandal ruin its plans for a new line of efficient, torquey oil-burners, the company's Executive Vice President Mark Reuss said at a recent press event. "No way," Reuss responded when asked about cancelling the upcoming diesel-powered Chevrolet Cruze and other vehicles. "The Cruze Diesel is too good not to do it." Slated for 2017, the compact is just the latest member of a diesel offensive that initially kicked off with the first Cruze Diesel and most recently saw the introduction of the oil-burning Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon. Reuss also reassured those in attendance that there was "no delay" in development of Cadillac's diesel lineup. Cadillac is working on a line of four- and six-cylinder turbodiesels for Europe. They'd make their way into the US market, too, eventually. "It's a question of timing," Reuss said, according to Car and Driver. Volkswagen's diesel emissions scandal has caused automakers across the globe to at least reanalyze their diesel strategy. Jaguar Land Rover, which is preparing several diesel-powered models for the US market, went on record late last month to reaffirm its commitment to diesel. Cadillac sales chief Peffer resigns amidst slow sales
Fri, 20 Jun 2014Cadillac continues to hemorrhage executives, as it's just seen its fourth high-level departure in the past year. Vice President of Global Strategic Development Don Butler (who defected to Ford) and European President and Managing Director Susan Docherty both left the company of their own volition, while Chase Hawkins, Cadillac's vice president of sales and service, was fired following a "violation of policy" in July of 2013. Strangely, it's Hawkins' replacement, Bill Peffer (shown above), who has handed in his papers this time around.
"Bill left to pursue other interests. Kurt McNeil replaces him, effective immediately," spokesman David Caldwell told Autoblog via email.
McNeil last held the VP of sales and service position back in 2012. He's currently the vice president of US sales for all of General Motors. According to The Detroit News, McNeil will take on the post in what is likely an interim capacity.
Seinfeld and Don Rickles stretch out in classic Caddy for latest CiCGC
Thu, 04 Jul 2013It's no surprise that for the newest episode of Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, airing for the first time on the 4th of July, that a couple of American classics are involved. You'll Never Play the Copa unites Seinfeld with legendary curmudgeon Don Rickles, driving around in a stunner of a 1958 Cadillac Eldorado Seville in Gleneagles Green (upholstery wrapped in Grandma-spec plastic, of course).
Mr. Rickles really steals the show in this one - maybe our favorite CiCGC to date - though the Eldorado plays a strong-jawed costarring role, for sure. Stories about Ronald Regan, Frank Sinatra, Billy Graham and, of course, Herkie Styles are more than worth the price of admission. Check it out below.
