The door regulators (poppers) and the flamers probably best need to be serviced. I have never worked on the a/c, so it will need to be serviced. The w/s has a crack (I over-tightened a screw while working on the interior trim) and I am discounting accordingly..no worries. Ebay requires a mileage so I put one..the odometer did not work when I bought it so I cannot state a real mileage. I have driven it @ 200 miles in the last 3 years, just enough to keep fluids going, etc."

Full custom Cadillac. I bought the car in Plano, TX then drove it back to South Florida with no problems whatsoever..none. Then enclosed trailered the car to my storage in Pittsburgh to get ready for the NE shows. Top chopped , door poppers, flamers! This is an original South LA Cruiser..for real! Trailer Queen, always garaged. TX title is 100% good..car  is in Pittsburgh, PA but is not PA inspected or licensed (trailer queen, remember?) . Needs some final touches. The tires are good but are shop tires, and the steering wheel is a shop wheel. (I assume the Buyer will want his/her own wheels/tires/wheel which is why I have not changed them). Paint is recent 2-color..beautiful and really well done by one of the best shops - Murphy's -  a legend in custom painting for nearly 50 years. I am getting too old to be on the show circuit and prefer to sell off. Photos accurately depict the vehicle's current (good) condition. (NOTE..the 1957 Chevy in one of the photos has been sold, so don't ask..) Also I added the Nu-Vue spots/mirrors recently which you will see in some of the photos. These are both spotlights with separate inside switches and glass side mirrors. Car runs and drives great..no problems, no smoke, no aggravation. I have been doing restorations for 40+ years and guess I am just wearing down..I like the car, you will too. Car has been continuously stored in protected garage, run regularly and serviced regularly.

Reserve is MUCH less than what I have in it...(you know you tend to spend more than perhaps you think you are going to on a car if you like it..)...Will consider ALL offers...my contact, cell, is 561.200.3404............Happy Bidding!........

*NOTE....The title is a FLORIDA title. I bought the car in Plano with a TX title. In checking my file this morning I see that I obtained a new FLORIDA NO LIEN title 06/14/2010. Why I did not remember that I have no idea. I apologize.  I must be older that I think I am...

On Sep-30-13 at 05:55:37 PDT, seller added the following information:

This is a message I received from a previous owner of the car which I found to be very interesting..hope you will too/interesting cars have interesting stories..and thanks to Abe for sharing this with me.."Just looking at eBay and stumbled across this beauty. I remember buying this car in '01 from Nicco"The Dragon "Hill in Southern Cali. He was a cage fighter back in the day. He called it the "Dragon Wagon", hence the dragon mural under the trunk deck. I remember another mural under the hood. It has changed a bit. I bought it black with purple ghost flames, fat white walls, the rear window opening was in the shape of the "Tapout" logo, and had a correct 64 steering wheel cut on top and bottom in the shape of a Batman symbol. Great Times! Cruising down the 405 freeway shooting 2-4 foot flames out the tailpipes. I sold it to a guy in Orange County about a month before my wedding date in 02. Thanks for the memories!"

Cadillac to bolster CT sedans with XT crossovers

Wed, 01 Oct 2014

Cadillac is moving swiftly to change up its naming scheme. Barely over a week ago we received our first indication that it was considering a different name its the upcoming flagship sedan previously known as LTS. Then Cadillac not only revealed the model would be called CT6, but announced that it would set the stage with a massive overhaul of its model nomenclature. And now we have another piece of the puzzle.
According to Forbes, Cadillac will not only rename its sedans with the letters CT, but will realign its utility vehicles under the banner of XT - both to be followed by a number indicating its place in the lineup. The one exception will be the Escalade, whose nameplate has such a strong following that it would be foolish for Cadillac to cast it aside. That leaves only the SRX (pictured above), but makes room for a new crop of crossovers said to be in the works.
It's a similar approach which Cadillac's new boss Johan de Nysschen took in revising the naming scheme at Infiniti. While it's bound to ruffle some feathers and scratch some heads in the beginning - especially since the company's current flagship sedan is called XTS - it's equally sure to make sense of it all in the long run. All we need to know now is what Nysschen and his marketing chief Uwe Ellinghaus plan to call the coupes.

Chrysler, Nissan looking into claim that their cars are industry's most hackable

Sun, 10 Aug 2014

A pair of cyber security experts have awarded the ignominious title of most hackable vehicles on American roads to the 2014 Jeep Cherokee, 2014 Infiniti Q50 and 2015 Cadillac Escalade.
Charlie Miller and Chris Valasek are set to release a report at the Black Hat hacking conference in Las Vegas, Automotive News reports. The two men found the Jeep, Caddy and Q50 were easiest to hack based not on actual tests with the vehicles, but a detailed analysis of systems like Bluetooth and wireless internet access - basically, anything that'd allow a hacker to remotely gain access to the vehicle's systems.
Considering this lack of hands-on testing, the pair acknowledge that "most hackable" could be a relative term - they point out that the vehicles may actually be quite secure.

Cadillac prices 410-hp XTS Vsport from $63,020*

Mon, 24 Jun 2013

Cadillac has officially released pricing for the 2014 XTS Vsport. Buyers can expect to pay $63,020 for the fleet four-door, including destination and handling fees. That kind of coin will snag you a twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter V6 good for 410 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. As you likely already know, engineers have done a lot more than simply bolt a pair of turbos onto the company's tried and true naturally aspirated 3.6-liter V6. The engine uses an all-new block, strengthened connecting rods and domed aluminum pistons and is fed through a revised direct-injection fuel system. Combined, the tweaks allow the V6 to suck down 12 psi of boost.
The price tag puts the 2014 Cadillac XTS Vsport well under potential (if ambitious) competitors like the Audi S6 at $71,900, plus destination fees. A base BMW 550i will set you back $62,700, excluding destination charges, but throwing options at the German sedan will quickly see that number climb higher. You can check out the full press release below for more information.
