1964 Cadillac coupe deville. This caddy is one of the best looking 64s out there. If you want to own a one of a caddy. This is it. I can't tell you how much attention this car gets when I drive it. If you don't like attention. Don't buy this car. It's a show stopper. The car was pretty much a full restoration. Original California car. Little to no rust. I still have the original salesman's business card from 1964 with the manuals. Car runs drives shifts and stops great. Here's a list of what's new.
Rebuilt 429 motor with aluminum radiator
Rebuilt trans
Fuel tank was dropped and flushed
All new interior with Suede headliner
Trunk is completely Carpeted
Ride tech bag set up with Shockwaves on the front. All digital
22" Centerline smoothies with new tires.
HID headlights and LED taillights
Air horn
Alarm with popper for trunk
Newer Paint job
Tint
Kenwood CD in the glove box with remote eye
6x9s in the rear deck
New Optima red top battery
All the power options in the Interior and exterior work. Windows, seat, lights, windshield wipers etc. etc. Even the cigarette lighter still works. The only thing that doesn't work is the wing/vent window on the driver side. The gear is Stripped. I painted all the trim around the widows and painted the door handles. Powder coated the grill and brushed out the bumpers and the face on the wheels. I hate chrome. This car does NOT have AC or heat. You can put a Vintage air system in it and practically have a bad ass new car. It's time for me to start a new Project. So this one must go. Bid to own this bad ass caddy and be the guy that everybody envies.

GM CEO Akerson calls out Tesla, says Cadillac will compete on EVs
Tue, 24 Sep 2013Cadillac will be taking on Tesla Motors, the underdog EV manufacturer that's seen heaps of critical acclaim and stock market buzz with its most recent sedan, the Model S. "If you want to compete head-to-head with Tesla, and we ultimately will, you want to do it with a Cadillac," Dan Akerson, the chairman and CEO of General Motors, told media in Washington, according to The Detroit News.
Akerson continued, telling The News, "We'll sell more Volts and lose less money on the Volts than they'll lose on the Model S." He also took time to point out that Tesla getting vehicles out to customers isn't a guarantee of success or permanence, using Fisker as an example, saying "Does anybody even remember Fisker? I mean, there were a number of them; they are all gone."
This strong talk from Akerson comes after Doug Parks, another GM exec, let slip that the Detroit-based manufacturer has an EV in the works that will cover 200 miles per charge and only cost about $30,000, a massive upgrade over similarly priced EVs that struggle to top 100 miles per charge. Until that vehicle arrives, though, GM is preparing the Cadillac ELR, a small coupe that, like the Volt with which it shares technology, uses a gas engine as a mobile generator to recharge the batteries. Akerson took aim at Tesla again, saying, "But I do think when the ELR comes out late this year, early next - it's certainly the same postal code as Tesla, but now we're going to move up. It's not going to be a mass-produced car."
GM's Reuss explains why Cadillac is heading to New York
Tue, 23 Sep 2014
"We're going to take it to a place [New York] to change the way that we do business around the brand of Cadillac." - Mark Reuss
General Motors product chief Mark Reuss elaborated Tuesday on Cadillac's move to New York in 2015, saying it will "elevate" the brand and allow it to reach new customers.
Cadillac ATS was almost front-wheel drive
Wed, 03 Apr 2013"We were going to do a front-wheel drive Cadillac compact off of Delta because it was going to be less expensive," Doug Parks, General Motors' vice president of global product programs, told the Automotive News during the Detroit Auto Show in January of this year. That sentence, referring to early ATS discussions more than five years ago - a period when the automaker, and the industry, was struggling - reveals that Cadillac's highly acclaimed rear-wheel drive compact sedan almost never happened.
Parks revealed that that automaker actually built a 2.0-liter test mule, on GM's Delta platform (shared with the Chevrolet Cruze and Buick Verano) and tested it in Europe. While the prototype was "pretty darn good," according to Parks, the team realized that in order to compete against Mercedes-Benz and BMW it would have to invest in a new rear-wheel drive platform.
The resulting all-new Alpha platform would eventually underpin the Cadillac ATS, and many would argue that its balanced rear-wheel drive chassis is its single most important attribute. Thankfully, the Alpha's goodness won't stop with the ATS. The upcoming 2014 Cadillac CTS and the future Camaro will also share its architecture, meaning the Cimarron will remain a distant memory.
