You are looking at a 1963 Classic Cadillac Sedan Deville. This pristine car is the epitome of American engineering and Luxury from the 1960’s. It features an eight cylinder 390 engine with 6700 miles on the odometer.

It comes with electronic windows and features air conditioning and radio. The air-conditioning unit is not on the vehicle.

It comes with original parts. The engine works great and this car is driven once a month to a car club, which is 15 miles away. This car is driven on the freeway at speeds exceeding 80 miles an hour without any issues (don’t tell that to the Ca. Highway Patrol).

The dual tone paint is 3 years old. It features Champagne gold metallic on top, brown metallic on the bottom.

The seats are well kept and are the original sets. This car was parked in the garage for its life and was primarily a Sunday Church car.

The original carburetor air filter has been changed with Edelbrock pro air filter head (pictured). The original carburetor filter and top mount is available and will be included with this vehicle. Also, the break boost pump has been changed (pictured) less than 6 months ago. There are also 4 new Cooper Trendsetter SE 1 inch white wall tires under the car, which were purchased 6 months ago.

This vehicle has no known mechanical issues and is in great shape. There is a minor dent under the chrome trim of the rear passenger window (pictured) . Does not affect the operation of the window. Also a small circular size dot is on the right side rear fin (pictured).

Test drives are available to serious buyers. The vehicle is located in Southern California.

GM struggles to sell small cars, plans to lay off 2,084 employees at two plants

Thu, Nov 10 2016

Due to low demand for some of its vehicles, General Motors plans to cut 2,084 jobs at its assembly plants in Lordstown, OH and Lansing, MI. At the same time, the automaker also announced plans to invest approximately $900 million in three of its facilities – the Toledo Transmission Operations in Ohio, Bedford Casting Operations in Indiana, and Lansing Grand River in Michigan - for future products. GM will discontinue the third shift at both the Lansing Grand River plant and the Lordstown, OH plant. The Cadillac ATS, Cadillac CTS, and Chevrolet Camaro are made at the automaker's plant in Michigan, which currently has 2,700 employees. The move to eliminate the third shift affects 810 hourly workers, as well as 29 salaried employees, starting on January 16th. The plant in Lordstown, OH currently has 4,500 employees and makes the Chevrolet Cruze sedan. The plan to discontinue the third shift will affect 43 salaried workers and 1,202 hourly employees and will start on January 23rd. As Fortune points out, sales of the Cruze are down 20 percent through October, while sales of the Cadillac ATS and CTS were down 17 percent through the same period of time. In addition to cutting the third shift at both assembly plants, the automaker plans to invest a total of $900 million between three of its facilities for unnamed future products. GM's Toledo Transmission Operations will receive $667.6 million, the Lansing Grand River Assembly plant will receive $211 million, and the automaker's Bedford Casting Operations will get $37 million. Last year, GM cut roughly 500 jobs from its Orion Township factory due to slow sales of the Chevrolet Sonic and Buick Verano, with surging crossover and SUV sales as the most likely culprit. With GM posting much healthier sales figures for the Chevrolet Equinox and Cadillac XT5 compared to the ATS, CTS, and Cruze, it looks like compact SUVs are to blame for this year's layoffs as well. Bridging The Gap With Power And Poise
As you read these words, West Coast Editor Michael Harley is preparing to drive the brand-new 2014 Cadillac CTS along the gorgeous, sun-drenched roads of Southern California. And while I'll wait for Harley's full report before I put words in his mouth, I'm willing to bet he enjoys the hell out of Cadillac's new CTS. In fact, I'm sure of it.
I say this with confidence because, about a month ago, I spent the better part of a day flogging the new CTS Vsport around the 2.9-mile Milford Road Course - a challenging circuit laid out in the infield of an oval test track at GM's proving grounds in southeast Michigan. The MRC was built about a decade ago after Bob Lutz was lured out of retirement to work closely with GM's product development team, and thus, this circuit is known informally as the "Lutz Ring." The main objective of the MRC was to have an in-house facility for engineers to fine-tune vehicle dynamics, without having to constantly schlep cars over to Germany's infamous Nürburgring. (Of course, they still do.)
