2005 Cadillac CTS-V in very good condition. Garaged since I have owned it the last 6 years. I am the second owner and it has not been driven in bad weather or snow. It has some minor chips in the hood for a car this age, but the bumper has been re-painted and has a 3M Clear Bra to protect it. The headlights and fog lights have also been buffed and has clear bra material on them as well. The exhaust has been modified with a nice sounding set of Magna Flow polished mufflers and tips and an X-pipe. Nice sounding and no drone. It also has a custom painted and modified engine cover. Tinted windows. Everything works. I do not have a NAV Disk, the car did not come with one, but the DVD does work as well as all the electrics. Maintained by me the whole time. Oil changed with Mobile One ever 5-7000 miles. Also comes with BF Goodrich KDW 255/40/18 tires. Brembo 14 in brakes. Tremec 6 speed Transmission, shifts great. The engine is all original, no mods. The rear has the "CS Diff bushing and block" to eliminate the "parade clunk". It also has the "V" knobs for the radio knobs and the vent knobs. I also installed a factory rear spoiler. Car runs great, starts every time, no leaks or drips. New AC Delco battery installed Feb 2014.  Diff fluid changed 5,000 miles ago, as well as the trans fluid.  It has only been driven on weekends, not a daily driver, just sits most of the time and it is time to move it to someone who will enjoy it more often.

On Apr-21-14 at 05:01:19 PDT, seller added the following information:

I also have all the original equipment, mufflers, resonator, and the stock engine cover which will go with the vehicle. I also have a set of modded GTO fuel rail covers which I would throw in for a small extra fee.

GM recalls 61k more vehicles in three campaigns

Sun, 05 Oct 2014

Following a stop-delivery order for its new midsize trucks and a rash of recent recalls, General Motors is issuing three more campaigns covering 60,575 vehicles in North America with 57,182 of them in the US. As of October 1, the automaker has issued a total of 74 recalls (see the ridiculously long chart to the right) this year covering 26,495,070 units in the US.
The largest campaign covers 46,873 examples in the US of the 2008-2009 Pontiac G8 and 2011-2013 Chevrolet Caprice Police Patrol Vehicle imported from Australia. It's possible for the driver's knee to hit the key and make it move from the "Run" to "ACC" position while driving. GM says its Holden division is developing a fixed-blade key that's supposed to fix the problem by only allowing it to rotate toward the "On" position. There has been one crash caused by this fault but no injuries or fatalities.
The second recall is for 10,005 units of the 2004-2007 Cadillac CTS-V and 2006-2007 Cadillac STS-V because "the fuel pump module electrical terminal may overheat." This can cause a flange to melt and allow the pump to leak fuel. GM specifies that the remedy for the CTS-V is replacing the fuel module and fuel tank jumper harness, but it doesn't specify how the STS-V is being repaired.

Cadillac previews upcoming new XT5 crossover [UPDATE]

Thu, Sep 10 2015

UPDATE: Cadillac has released another three images, which we've added to the gallery above. Cadillac is gearing up to unveil its new XT5 crossover at the Dubai Motor Show in November. We've already seen what it'll look like - from a couple of angles, anyway - but the all-American luxury automaker has given us another taste of what's to come with a quartet of images released on its official Facebook page. Set to replace the SRX that's now six years old, the all-new XT5 adopts the new design language we've seen on newer Cadillacs of late. That's most particularly emphasized with those vertically integrated LED headlights. The sharply creased styling is also signature Cadillac, as is the egg-crate grille capped by the brand's wreath-less new emblem. The dark brown paint job also looks like it has a deep metallic flake to it, offset by satin brightwork where you might have once expected to see glinting chrome. (Then again, it could just be reflecting a uniform backdrop.) The XT5 is expected to be the first of several new Caddy crossovers to wear the letters XT. A smaller model (likely to be dubbed XT3) is tipped to slot in below, with a larger XT7 to slot in above – but still below the defiantly truck-based Escalade that's not about to go anywhere anytime soon. Sedans will continue to start their nameplates with the letters CT. But after a dozen years, the letters SRX will be retired from the Cadillac lexicon. Related Video:

Fixated By Europeans, GM Ensures The Third Time Is A Charm
Few things are better for consumers than competition raising the bar. And no campaign seems fiercer than the one currently underway in the midsize sport-sedan segment now that Cadillac has introduced its all-new 2014 CTS to go head-to-head against the benchmark Audi A6, BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
While the CTS has been on the market for slightly more than a decade, up until this third-generation, Cadillac hasn't truly had the proper high-performance rear-wheel-drive architecture to build a genuine world-class fighter, both inside and out. And now that the American automaker has successfully mirrored Audi, BMW and Mercedes in overall vehicle size, engine output and cabin appointments, the first shots have been fired.
