CIRCLE CITY CONCEPTS PROUDLY PRESENTS THIS

2005 Cadillac CTS-V

As you can see from the pictures, this car is in great shape! It has very low miles and drives as such. This is the car that put Cadillac back on the map and broke the mold of being "your Papa's car." With 420 Horsepower, Papa can swing by the drag strip after getting groceries and beat most of the cars there. We are a smaller, Indianapolis dealer that focuses more on quality, rather than quantity of vehicles. Please see our feedback on eBay, Facebook, YouTube or our own website; we are more dedicated to customer satisfaction than any other dealer, PERIOD! We will also be attaching a full walk around video of the vehicle for your viewing pleasure. We have tons, and tons of pictures of the car both before customizations and after. So, if there are more pictures you would like to see, please message us and we'll be glad to send them.

INTERIOR

The interior of the car is in great shape. There are no tears or rips in the leather anywhere in the vehicle. All of the power options function as they should including: Navigation, BOSE stereo system, sunroof, heated leather seats, dual climate control and all of the other standard power options that accompany the Cadillac name.

EXTERIOR

The biggest attention grabber from an exterior standpoint are the wheels. We installed the 18x9 Team Dynamics Motorsport wheels that have a matte black finish. The wheels are wrapped in brand new Kumho Ecsta tires. If viewing the vehicle from the rear, you will notice that the tires are very wide. The stock size of 245x45 does not offer enough traction, so we upgraded the rear tires to 275x40's. Do not worry, there is no rubbing whatsoever as these upgraded wheels have an offset that allows the wider tires to fit flawlessly. Just less slippage, more traction and a mean look to the rear end of the car.

A few other notable exterior features are the Xenon headlights with the scowl covers that are painted to match. We've added mesh grilles to the lower fog lamps to match the upper and lower factory grilles. The V models come with a lower ground affects package than the CTS base models. The original owner also added the rear spoiler to the deck lid to give a more unique appearance. And finally, the windows have been tinted dark. Please view the other CTS-V's we've completed as we can easily add any of the features from those cars (exhaust, badge removal, blacked out grille or tinted exterior lighting). The Red Line Metallic paint was one of the more rare upgrades to the exterior of this Texas vehicle and shows exceptionally with no rust.

DRIVETRAIN

This vehicle is equipped with the same engine that came in the 01-04 Corvette Z06's and it's amazing. The Corvette engine covers are not standard, but seem fitting for an engine such as this! The Tremac 6 speed manual transmission is standard in these vehicles because they can handle the everyday use, or the weekend warrior who wants to show his friends what the car can do. The K&N cold air intake was installed to pump more oxygen to the engine and add a slight bump in horsepower at the same time. The huge Brembo brakes provide more than enough stopping power under road conditions. We have installed a new SuperStart battery and immediately following the purchase of the tires, the vehicle was aligned and drives perfectly. This vehicle has been inspected by the local GM dealer prior to this listing. There are no known issues whatsoever with the car, so please bid with confidence.

It is not our goal to waste your time or ours, so we list all of our items as accurately as possible. Please have your funds in order prior to bidding so we don't encounter issues following the auction. Please contact us prior to bidding if you have a feedback rating of 0 or we reserve the right to cancel your bid. The vehicle is listed locally as well and we may end the auction at any time. If you would like to schedule a test drive or an inspection, please allow us 24 hours to make arrangements. This was purchased at an insurance auction with very minor damage. Every part that needed replaced has been with GM parts, no cheap aftermarket pats have been installed on the car. We have receipts for the everything and pictures from the auction to verify.
The title is transferable to any state as the car has been issued a CLEAR INDIANA REBUILT TITLE that we have in hand. The winning bidder is responsible for a $500 deposit due within 48 hours of auctions end eBay has a very strict rule of no outside websites, so please contact us if you would like to view it. Thank you for looking and happy bidding

Cadillac president Johan de Nysschen expands on brand's future

Tue, Mar 13 2018

Cadillac president Johan de Nysschen chatted with journalists at a recent roundtable, expounding on everything from domestic racing to Chinese manufacturing. The brand's been doing a slow burn on rolling out new products and increasing sales, but admittedly, there was a lot of work to do. After closing out last year 0.8 percent down in the U.S., the domestic luxury brand is more than 5 percent up so far this year, thanks to healthy double-digit bumps for the ATS and Escalade, and increased fleet sales. Globally, the brand's doing 21 percent better. The XT5 still outsells everything, though. Asked about slow sedan sales, de Nysschen cited a few reasons, one of them "energy prices," which are low enough to fuel the crossover craze. You can also read that as another admission that Cadillac doesn't have enough crossovers to please the crowds, a fact the XT4 will soon address. Yet de Nysschen also pegged the sedan malaise on "younger consumers who really are less tuned into dynamics and handling and all of those things that used to excite enthusiasts. It's more about the way cars complement and enable their lifestyle now." He topped that with a take on U.S. roads, saying, "I also have to say it may also be influenced a little bit by the decay of America's infrastructure. When roads no longer support high-performance sport sedans and ultra-low-profile rubber, people are going to respond to it." Those latter takes seem wide of the mark. Yes, BMW is the established leader, but the Munich carmaker sold 8,806 3 Series' so far this year in all variants, compared to 2,543 ATS coupes and sedans. Mercedes-Benz has sold 8,366 C-Class models so far in all variants. As for infrastructure, yes, it's a mess, but AMG sales rocketed up nearly 50 percent in the U.S. last year, nearly 10 percent of overall Mercedes sales, and the Three-Pointed Star expects that to rise again this year. People are buying sedans and performance models. They simply aren't buying enough of them with Cadillac badges. Cadillac has no plans to go racing in Europe since the brand doesn't have the kind of presence there to justify the investment. De Nysschen said they'll stick with the Daytona Prototype International formula in the U.S. domestic scene, and continue with the tech transfer from race to road.

Liberace's gilded Cadillac could be yours

Tue, 27 Aug 2013

With their chrome grilles and oversized wheels, it's hard not to notice a Cadillac these days. But this one is even more blingtastic on account of the 23.75-karat gold-leaf bodywork.
The 1931 Cadillac Golfer's Drop Head Coupé is said to have belonged to the inimitable performer Liberace, who didn't just have it covered in gold - he also had the exterior door handles plated in silver and the inside handles in 24-karat gold as well. It's also got a white leather interior and headlights that - well ahead of their time (if you'll pardon us, Mr. Tucker) - pivot with the steering wheel. All that bling is powered by a 5.7-liter V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission that pales in comparison to the seven, eight and even nine-speed gearboxes appearing on luxury sedans today.
The project was undertaken over the course of three years in the 1970s by one Jack Smith from Kansas. Smith (if that was his real name) sold it at auction in 1975, and it was most recently displayed for 12 years at a museum in Germany which claimed it was Liberace's own. The car is now going up for sale by Barons' at the Sandown Park horse racing track in Surrey, England, on September 17, when bidding starts at 85,000 pounds - equivalent to over $130,000 at today's rates.

Cadillac boss: We will have diesels

Tue, Aug 18 2015

Johan de Nysschen doesn't usually mince words about his plans, and the Cadillac boss says that diesel-fueled models are on the horizon for the luxury brand in the US by the early 2020s. The four- and six-cylinder engines under development would launch first in Europe about 2019. "We will definitely bring them to the US," de Nysschen said during a press event, according to Automotive News. Unfortunately, the Cadillac president isn't saying which models would get the diesels, yet. This plan has been in the works for at least several months, and Cadillac made mention of the two oil-burners earlier this year during the unveiling of its new V6 engine. De Nysschen broached the possibility during an interview at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show, and he also referred to the inclusion of hybrids and plug-ins into the company's lineup at that time. Last year, a rumor suggested the addition of a V6 turbodiesel into the Escalade range. There were also rumblings of an oil-burning ATS during that model's launch. While Cadillac is no stranger to offering diesels in Europe, the decision to develop these new ones could come at an inopportune time. Governments there are rapidly moving against the fuel in favor of electrification. Tighter emissions regulations could also be on the way for the EU. Related Video:
