For your consideration is a 2013 Cadillac CTSV Sedan The car has been custom wrapped by Sully's Street Dynamics in Margate, FL. If you don't like the color its not a big deal as we can work it out to have the wrap removed. The paint underneath is in perfect condition. (See pics of original color). Sully also put 19" TSW wheels wrapped in Nitto Invo's (great tread left). I do not have the original wheels. Sully's also removed the stock Bose sub and added a M&M sub and amp in the trunk. Only took up 6" of the trunk. (See Pics). The Bose system sounds wonderful with the addition to the new speaker. All interior lights and most exterior lights have been upgraded to LED. (See Pics) I have over $14000 invested into the engine. My loss is your gain. All work was done by Lashway Motorsports in Fort Lauderdale, FL. They did say you can contact them to talk about the car if you wish. Below is a list of work done. The car Dyno'd at 623rwhp without spray and 750rwhp with a 100 shot of nitrous. I never got a chance to spray the nitrous at the track only on the dyno. It should run in the low 10's with a 100 shot in the 1/4 mile. This car has not been beaten up on. Next-gen Cadillac CTS-Vs caught in parking lot
Thu, 10 Jan 2013A pair of camouflaged Cadillac CTS prototypes were spotted, and thankfully photographed, outside a grocery store in Southern California. From the image above - there are plenty more if you click over to TotalCarScore.com - it appears these could be testers for the 2014 CTS-V, but that is just speculation. We've seen the obvious "V" motif in the grille before, and there's what could be another "V" in the design of the side mirrors.
The hood on the car in the background appears to include two bulges, but the single shot that affords a tiny peek under the hood shows reveals only the airbox. Plenty of rumors, and the sight of an engine cover inscribed with the words "Twin Turbo," have caused people to wonder if a twin-turbo V6 will live under the production car's hood instead of the V8 currently there. In back, instead of the round tailpipes found outboard on all the CTS sedans, there's a pair of integrated tips in a parallelogram shape. A new shifter with contrasting stitching was spied in the cabin.
If predictions hold up it will arrive later this year. When it does, expect the body underneath all that camo to be softer on the eye compared to the current car - less science and more art. For now, hit the link to see more spy shots of what's coming.
Driving the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V at the old Elkhart Lake road course
Wed, Jun 24 2015The placid community around Elkart Lake, WI, looks about as far removed from a glorious motorsport venue as you can imagine. A turn of the century downtown gives way to old-school resorts, beaches, and boat launches around the picturesque lake, with farms framing the rolling hills all around. But it was those very same meandering country lanes that gave birth to one of America's greatest racing circuits, some 65 years ago. Between the first race in 1950 and the opening of the dedicated Road America track in 1956, the roads around Elkhart Lake provided the setting for some great post-war racing. Competing on public streets was ultimately outlawed across the country, but not before drivers risked life and limb in the name of glory in the Wisconsin summer. Cadillac asked us out to the area recently, not to talk racing history, but to look forward at one of the most track capable cars the company has ever offered: the 2016 CTS-V. We got to drive the 640-horsepower beastie for an entire morning of hot laps at Road America, but unfortunately, we're not allowed to tell you about all of that right now. You'll have to wait until the embargo lifts on August 3, at which point we promise a full recounting of our adventure. Having the CTS-V for a full two days though, and in the spirit of the motorsport that imbues the air in Elkhart Lake, we took the Cadillac on a drive around the old 6.5-mile road course.
