2011 CTS V Coupe with a 6 speed manual. This car has all the
right option boxes ticked: ·
Saffron inserts ·
Suede shift knob and steering wheel ·
Recaro sport seats – a huge improvement over
stock ·
Moonroof This has been a fantastic car to own. I have the complete
service history with all receipts and invoices. The car has been kept on a
regular maintenance schedule since my ownership and throughout its life.
Currently, the car has brand new Toyo Proxes 1 tires on all four corners – a
big improvement over the stock all-season Michelins. During the 25k mile
service I had the dealership replace the oil as well. Car has never been raced or tracked. The paint is 8/10 – couple of rock chips here and there, a
scratch on the driver’s side rear fender (touch-up paint applied by dealership), a ding right by the gas cap, and the front plastic splitter has a couple scuffs and has a small crack (a 1/4 of an inch).
Since my ownership the car has only been washed and detailed by hand. Interior
is a 9/10 – suede seat inserts are in fantastic shape, dash is perfect, and the carpets are very clean. The car has mostly lived in a garage its entire life. Car is still under factory warranty. The car is sold as-is
where-is with no expressed or implied warranty from the seller. Only reason I’m selling the car is I’ve recently started
travelling a lot for work and no longer have a need for the toy. This car is an
absolute blast to own. It is supremely comfortable on long road trips, plenty
of power, phenomenal brakes, and a suspension that makes this car act like it
weighs 2000 lbs and not 4200. Brings a smile to my face every time I put the
loud pedal down. You will not regret buying this car. I’m sad to be letting her
go. The car is listed
outside of eBay and I reserve the right to end the listing early. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions. A $1000.00 nonrefundable deposit is due within 48 hours of
the auction close, either via paypal, cashier’s check, or money order.
Remainder of the balance is due within 7 days of auction close. Car and title
will not be released until all funds have cleared the bank. Shipping is the
buyer’s responsibility – I can coordinate with the shipping company around
logistics. |

Five awesome Lego car creations
Thu, 23 Oct 2014Lego cars are among our favorite toys. They're fun for play, and if built properly, great to display. With that in mind, we've crafted a list of some of the best creations we've seen. Some are on sale now, while others are merely the work of fanciful enthusiasts. There are even a couple that you definitely cannot buy (we'll explain).
Our choices are diverse, including everything from a diminutive 1969 Chevy Corvette to a fullsize Ferrari Formula One racecar. These are just five projects that caught our eye - there are many more out there - so if you don't see your favorite Lego car on the list (or if you have your own creation), please tell us about it, in Comments.
11 vehicles from Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas worth watching
Fri, 26 Sep 2014This weekend will see the world's collector car crowds descend on Las Vegas, NV for one of the biggest shows on Barrett-Jackson's popular auction circuit. There are hundreds of vehicles up for bidding, ranging from a brand-new Lamborghini Aventador to a spattering of Art Deco classics and a huge swath of classic muscle cars.
While it's virtually impossible to assemble an inarguable list of the best cars coming during the three-day, 700-plus vehicle auction, we've sifted through the listings for this year's show - it was a tough assignment, we promise - and assembled a list of what we think will be some of the most interesting lots. We'll admit, it's a bit heavy on American iron, but if you browse BJ's listings, you'll come to a similar conclusion. Still, scroll down for our list of what we think will be the most interesting vehicles at the upcoming auction.
Consumer Reports no longer recommends Honda Civic
Mon, Oct 24 2016Consumer Reports annual Car Reliability Survey is out, and yes, there are some big surprises. First and foremost? The venerable publication no longer recommends the Honda Civic. In fact, aside from the walking-dead CR-Z and limited-release Clarity fuel-cell car, the Civic is the only Honda to miss out on CR's prestigious nod. At the opposite end there's a surprise as well – Toyota and Lexus remain the most reliable brands on the market, but Buick cracked the top three. That's up from seventh last year, and the first time for an American brand to stand on the Consumer Reports podium. Mazda's entire lineup earned Recommended checks as well. Consumer Reports dinged the Civic for its "infuriating" touch-screen radio, lack of driver lumbar adjustability, the limited selection of cars on dealer lots fitted with Honda's popular Sensing system, and the company's decision to offer LaneWatch instead of a full-tilt blind-spot monitoring system. Its score? A lowly 58. The Civic isn't the only surprise drop from CR's Recommended ranks. The Audi A3, Ford F-150, Subaru WRX/STI, and Volkswagen Jetta, GTI, and Passat all lost the Consumer Reports' checkmark. On the flipside, a number of popular vehicles graduated to the Recommended ranks, including the BMW X5, Chevrolet Camaro, Corvette, and Cruze, Hyundai Santa Fe, Porsche Macan, and Tesla Model S. Perhaps the biggest surprise is the hilariously recall-prone Ford Escape getting a Recommended check – considering the popularity of Ford's small crossover, this is likely a coup for the brand, as it puts the Escape on a level playing field with the Recommended Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, and Nissan Rogue. While Ford is probably happy to see CR promote the Escape, the list wasn't as kind for every brand. For example, of the entire Fiat Chrysler Automobiles catalog, the ancient Chrysler 300 was the only car to score a check – there wasn't a single Dodge, Fiat, Jeep, Maserati, or Ram on the list. That hurts. FCA isn't alone at the low end, either. GMC, Jaguar Land Rover, Mini, and Mitsubishi don't have a vehicle on CR's list between them, while brands like Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Nissan, Lincoln, Infiniti, and Cadillac only have a few models each. You can check out Consumer Reports entire reliability roundup, even without a subscription, here.
