Hello, this listing is for a Supercharged 2009 Cadillac CTS-V sedan making a ridiculous 700hp!!! Chances are if you are looking at this auction you don't need me to tell you why this car is so awesome, but in case you do...

The car has the 6-speed manual transmission and is in great overall shape. The color is black on black. The exterior is in good shape and has normal wear and tear. The interior is basically flawless because I'm the only one who ever drives it. Non-smoker / no kids in the car ever. It has every option available from the factory including the heated/cooled Recaro performance seats, Ultraview panoramic sunroof, Navigation, and suede wrapped steering wheel. It had brand new Goodyear Eagle F1 tires installed last fall before the car went into storage for the winter; 90% tread life remaining on those. Regular oil changes every 5k with Mobil 1. The suspension is the stock factory magnetic ride shock setup. The car is modified, but still retains the remainder of the factory 100,000 mile powertrain warranty from GM. It has been tastefully modded and ALL performance work was done by a nationally known shop in southeast Michigan. No accidents, clean title.

This car makes great power and is a BLAST to drive while still remaining tame while cruising! IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO GET INTO A V-SERIES, THIS IS BEST DEAL ON EBAY.

Power modications:
  • Custom dyno tuning
  • upgraded 9.1" lower and 2.85" upper supercharger pulleys (14.5# of boost)
  • upgraded ID850 fuel injectors
  • upgraded New Era cold air intake
  • brand new stock supercharger intake snout installed at 45k miles
  • stock exhaust to muffler delete (sounds amazing without being too obnoxious for daily use)
Cosmetic modifications:
  • tinted windows (30%) on the sides and back
  • blacked out front grill and side gills
  • blacked out chrome door trim
  • custom made Punisher badges over front and rear wreath logos
  • factory iPod/iPhone adapter included -- works with factory radio and steering wheel controls
The car had a sticker price of $72k + tax new, and over $8000 has been invested into the modifications made since I purchased it. I'm sad to see it go, but it's time for me to move on to another project and I'd like to free up some cash flow. That is the ONLY reason I'm selling this. The car is currently being daily driven, but I work out of my house and put no more than 10-20 miles on it in a typical day. At the conclusion of the auction, the buyer can make payment through personal check (must wait for it to clear) or cashier's check / money order. No wire payments. No in person cash deals. If you have any questions or would like to see more pics of the car, or if you would like me to arrange a video chat and get a personal tour of the car, I would be happy to answer any serious inquiries.

GM recalling 117,000 sedans, crossovers, SUVs, pickups and vans

Thu, 02 Oct 2014

General Motors has issued a stop-sale to dealers and has notified the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration of its intention to recall 117,000 vehicles in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Of those vehicles, only 4,500 are at dealerships.
The affected vehicles include the Cadillac CTS and Chevrolet Impala sedans, fullsize SUVs (Cadillac Escalade, Chevy Tahoe and Suburban and GMC Yukon and Yukon XL), Lambda-platform crossovers (Chevy Traverse, Buick Enclave and GMC Acadia), heavy-duty pickups (Chevy Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD) and fullsize vans (Chevy Express and GMC Savana). The sedans and body-on-frame SUVs include model years 2013 and 2014, while the CUVs, heavy-duty pickups and vans are limited to MY2014.
GM confirmed the recall to Autoblog via an emailed statement (which we've included below). According to the statement, the issue at hand in what is the company's 69th recall of 2014 covers the chassis-control module. Automotive News is reporting that a problem in the chassis-control system could cause a short in the module, which could cause the engine to stall or fail to start. The fault could also affect the trailer-brake control, provided it's equipped.

2017 Cadillac XT5 shows off its new metal in LA

Thu, Nov 19 2015

Cadillac is in the midst of a comprehensive production overhaul, and few of its new arrivals will be as pivotal as the new XT5. Replacing the old SRX, the XT5 was revealed in the metal here on the floor of the 2015 LA Auto Show. Joining the new CT6 under Caddy's new naming scheme, the XT5 represents GM's assault on German competition like the Audi Q5, BMW X3, and Mercedes GLC, Japanese rivals like the Lexus RX, Infiniti QX50, and Acura RDX, and its own cross-town nemesis, the Lincoln MKX. And to better fend off their advances, the new XT5 promises marked improvements over its predecessor in every way. The model you see here is, to our eyes, handsomer than the model it replaces, adopting the Art & Science brand's latest design cues. It offers a fresh cabin space loaded with the latest equipment. And it weighs a solid 278 pounds less than the outgoing SRX. Power still comes from a 3.6-liter V6, paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission with available all-wheel drive. 310 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque keep it going, which ought to help it keep pace with the competition. We're looking forward to seeing how it drives in due course, but in the meantime, you're invited to view our live photos from the floor of the Los Angeles Convention Center in the gallery above.
